The cabin was beautiful! The kids all had a great time, even us adults enjoyed the pool table and the video arcade. Kept everyone busy while we were there. The location was great, far enough away for the peace and quiet, yet a 2 minute trip and your downtown. The bedrooms were great, all the beds were super comfy. The driveway was a little tricky at first getting down but we stayed closer to the fence pulling down in and it was no problem, could park right next to the cabin and we had 2 cars with us. The service was great I called with a question late one night and someone came by early the next morning. Would definately recommed this to anyone staying in the area. We had 5 kids ages 7-12 and they absolutely loved it there, they didn't want to go home. Super close to the grocery store also, which is a plus.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.
Owner response: Michelle, So glad you all had a wonderful time at Forest Fantasy! . . . and thanks for the kind review. Your thoughts reflect ours as well and that's why we love every chance we get to head up to the mountains! Jim

My family of seven and two grandparents stayed at this location for Spring Break and we had a wonderful time. The cabin has a luxury, cozy feel and is very accommodating. The fully stocked kitchen is nice along with the outdoor grill that is covered in case it rains. The pool table and arcade game were a hit with the adults and kids and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. Location is perfect and extremely close to downtown Gatlinburg. The multilevel home allows everyone to get away from each other if necessary but great communal areas to gather together as well. The wooded location is perfect for privacy and the owner, Jim, was amazing to work with. He answered all of my questions and responded to any concerns very quickly. Clean linens, clean dishes and a clean, comfortable home made for a great vacation in the mountains. Thank you!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, pet owners, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

This cabin was the highlight of our trip. The weather could not have been much worse, so we spent way more time indoors than we had planned. Fortunately, this is a beautiful place. The kids and the adults had a blast in the hot tub and in the game room, The cabin was clean with plenty of towels and dishes. And the king size beds are HUGE! The road leading to the cabin and the driveway would have been interesting in freezing conditions, but it wasn't too bad in the rain. All in all, we enjoyed our time in Gatlinburg and we really enjoyed the cabin. Thank you!Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thanks for your wonderful review! I wish I could have done something about the weather but that is above my pay grade:) I'm so glad the cabin made up for the bad weather. We hope you'll come back again soon.

Wow! Stunning cabin it is! We ladies weren't sure we would make this long-planned trip just as Hurricane Sandy was gaining momentum along the NC coast and inward towards the Smokies, especially for three of us who had planned to take the mountainous route from GA! This beautiful cabin on the side of a mountain with gorgeous views of fall leaves is awesome. The knotty pine interior floors, walls, ceilings, doors, some furniture, and rafters combined with stacked stone make the home so unique. The porches were spacious, although the cold, rainy weather early on prevented much enjoyment, including seeing no bears! The layout and space provides a perfect 3-level home that suited us senior girlfriends from high school for our annual gathering! Thank you, Jim & Robin, for being so patient with the calls and endless questions! And thanks to Ron, Robin C., & Missy for a spotless home, attention to detail, and leaving us extra towels. Owner response: Cindy, Thank you for your gracious review! I'm sorry Mother Nature wasn't totally cooperative, but I'm so glad that you missed the worst of the weather! So glad you had fun with your friends and enjoyed your time together. We'd love to have you back any time! Jim

We really enjoyed our time at Forest Fantasy. The cabin was exactly as described and even better. Our group of 11 (5 adults and 6 children) were very comfortable and accomadated. The pool table and arcade were great entertainment on the stormy day we experienced. The cabin was clean and had all that we needed to enjoy a few meals in. The highlight of our stay was the little bear that visited every evening. The only issue we experienced was with the air conditioner going out. Mr. Ron (maintainence) was called and came out immediately to take care of this. He even stayed around for a bit and gave us tips about the area and showed the kids some of the bear pics he had in his phone. This was our first time to the area and we look forward to returning soon. We would definitely recommend you consider Forest Fantasy for your Gatlinburg vacay!!!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Raynelle, thanks for taking the time to write such a wonderful review. Robin and i are so glad that you had a great mountain getaway. We'd love to have you back anytime!

We loved this cabin! It is just as nice in real life as it is in the pictures. There was plenty of room for all of us and the kids loved the pool table and video games. The seclusion is peaceful but you are very close to anything you need downtown. The owners have very clear instructions posted on the fridge to help avoid any problems. We saw the black bear on the very first day we arrived. Anyone thinking of renting this cabin should not even hesitate. It is worth the money.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We had an awesome vacation in Gatlinburg. The house is beautilful and fully accomodated all of our needs. We liked the serenity of the being in the mountains, yet still being so close to town. The owners were so welcoming to us. All of the kids LOVED the game room! The most exciting part of our vacation was white water rafting and the morning visits from the cute black bear cubs! We got to see the fireworks on the 4th fo July! We would absolutely recommend this house to others and we will definitely come back. Thanks!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This cabin is absolutely wonderful! Location, location, location!! Did I say location? Convenient to downtown Gatlinburg yet tucked away on the side of a mountain!! This cabin has a well laid out floor plan that allows everyone to have their own space. The two king bedrooms are nothing less than absolutely gorgeous! Down stairs bedrooms are very nice as well! Each bedroom having it's own private bath is also a nice touch. We traveled with children and small grandchildren. Everyone had a fantastic time. The pool table, video games and hot tub were enjoyed by all! The pictures of this cabin DO NOT do it justice! I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Gatlinburg area! Thanks Jim for allowing us to share your piece of paradise in the Smokey Mountains! It was AWESOME!!Owner response: Lisa, Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a gracious review. Robin and I are happy that the cabin helped make your vacation desires come true. I especially appreciate the tweaks you suggested that will make our guests experience even better. I've already communicated them to our management team! Jim

We just returned home from four fabulous days at Forest Fantasy. What a beautiful cabin and relaxing surroundings! It was all we hoped for and far exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of room for three generations to enjoy each other but still find a place to hide when the togetherness got to be too much! Jim is great to work with and promptly addresses any questions that may arise. We had a wonderful time.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.
Owner response: Karen, thanks for your very encouraging words. I'm so glad that Forest Fantasy exceeded your expectations! You were a very gracious guest as well! We do hope you will come back again very soon!

We rented this cabin Thurs. thru Monday President's Weekend. Arrived on Thursday to a quiet, clean, beautiful cabin. We had 11 people and had plenty of space. The kids loved the pool table and arcade games. The adults enjoyed the decks and hot tub. We had 3 cars and all were able to park with plenty of room. The driveway is a little tricky but fine with the perfect weather that we had. We were amazed at how comfortable everything was. Especially the BEDS. They were great! Very close to downtown but you still feel as if you are tucked away in the mountains. Thanks for a wonderful place to have some great memories to share for along time. We would definitely recommend this beautiful cabin to anyone visiting the area. Hope to visit again soon. Thanks again Jim and Robin!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.
