                        We found this unit to be wonderfully equipped and in an excellent location -- walking distance to all the great Front Street shopping, etc. Angie was super attentive to our questions and provided immediate assistance when we needed it. We look forward to being a guest of Angie's here as soon as we make it back!

                        Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

                        We had a fabulous stay on Maui and didn’t want to come home at all! Thank you for the late check out on our last day—it meant we could go take a surf lesson in Lahaina and then go back and clean up before the airport. We had an awesome time and your place was very comfortable and central.

                        For the price Aina Nalu is a great value. We have 2 kids and the condo was spacious, comfortable, had good wi-fi and was quiet at night. It is a really clean and refreshingly modern condo with comfortable living room furniture for relaxing, a great kitchen and awesome showers. You can stay and play at the pool at the condo, or walk easily to town, including walking to a surf lesson, stores, restaurants and even Baby Beach. The only concern I had was that there was a lack of outside seating at the condo--no Lanai. On one side you were directly on the parking lot, like a motel, and on the other side you were in the rather cramped walkways between condo buildings. Travellers looking for a view or a verandah should do their research!

                      Cancellation policy:

                      TERMS AND CONDITIONS AINA NALU UNIT J-107 Our resort complex, Aina Nalu, is located at 660 Wainee St, Lahaina, HI 96761 1. Agreement: The Owners and Tenants agree as follows: Tenant is over the age of 21 and will be an occupant of the unit during the entire reserved period. Other occupants will be family members, friends, or responsible children. No key codes will be issued to anyone other than the tenant listed on rental agreement. The maximum number of guests per condominium is limited to six (6) persons. This property requires a (3) night minimum stay and longer stays may be required during holiday periods. Rates are subject to change without notice. 2. Pets: No pets allowed. A fee will be assessed if tenants have pets in unit. 3. Smoking: No smoking allowed in the units. A fee will be assessed if tenants smoke in unit. 4. Description of Unit: Aina nalu Unit J-107 is located in the heart of Lahaina town. This unit has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and is newly renovated, fully furnished with a full kitchen. Unit J-107 has a king bed, queen bed, and a queen sofa sleeper. This unit has TVs, A/C, hair dryers, and a washer/dryer, dishwasher and fridge. 5. Deposits/Payments: An advance payment equal to 50% of the rental rate is due at the time of reservation. The advance payment will be applied toward the room rent. The advance payment is not a damage deposit. The BALANCE OF RENT is due thirty (30) days before your arrival date. If initial reservation is less than (30) days, full amount is due upon reservation. Payment can be made by personal check in U.S. funds, bank money order or cashiers check payable to Coconut Condos. A $35 fee applies to all returned checks. 6. Security Deposit: The security deposit is $200 and is required at the time of final payment in the form of a separate check or money order made payable to Coconut Condos. The deposit is not applied toward rent and it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure provided the following provisions are met: a. No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear. b. No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets, or smoking during the stay. c. All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in dumpster, and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned. One load of laundry is started. d. All keys are left in the lock box and unit is left locked (including the back door). e. All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure. f. No linens/towels are lost or damaged. g. NO Early check-in or late check-out. h. The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, or the security company employed by Outrigger. The unit will be inspected and cleaned after your departure. If additional cleaning is required, charges will be deducted from your security deposit. 7. Storage of Food Items: Guests to maintain a clean environment in the unit by not leaving food items out with containers open. Most food items should be kept in the refrigerator to prevent attraction to pests. Food spills, crumbs, etc. should be cleaned promptly. 8. Check-In/Check-Out: Check in is after 3:00 pm HST. Check out time is 11:00 am HST. You are NOT required to check in or out at the front desk. No early check-in or late check-out. If you check out later than 11am, you will be charged for an additional night’s stay. 9. Parking Passes – You are only required to check in at the front desk for a parking permit. If you have a vehicle, you will be charged a $15/day parking fee to park on property. Street parking is first come, first serve at no charge. 10. Cancellations: A thirty (30) day written notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and damage/reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. 11. Monthly Reservation Cancellations – Monthly renters must cancel one hundred twenty (120) days prior to check-in. Monthly renters who make a change that results in a shortened stay must be made at least ninety (90) days prior to check-in. 12. No Daily Maid/Maintenance Service: Bed linens and towels are provided. There is no daily housekeeping. A starter supply of bath soap, toilet tissue, and garbage liners will be provided; however, tenant will need to purchase further supplies. This is a privately managed unit and the Outrigger staff at the front desk will not assist you with towels, linens, any supplies or maintenance issues. Please call (808) 419-1000. We have on-island support for any problems. 13. Tenants Liability: Tenant agrees to accept liability for any damages caused to the property by Tenant or Tenant guests, including but not limited to, landscaping, misuse of appliances, and/or equipment furnished. If damages are in excess of the security deposit being held, Tenant agrees to reimburse owners for costs incurred to repair/replace damaged items. 14. Hold Harmless: All units are privately owned. Owners do not assume any liability for any loss, damage, or injury to persons or their personal property. Neither do we accept liability for any inconvenience arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, electricity, or plumbing. Nor will owners accept liability for any loss or damage caused by weather conditions, natural disasters, or other reasons beyond its control. 15. Walkways and Common Areas: The Tenant is fully aware that the walkways can be dangerous, that they can be slippery when wet, and that injury is likely to occur to anyone not using caution. Tenants should observe and adhere to all rules and policies as posted at the property. With full knowledge of the above facts and warnings, the undersigned accepts and assumes all risks involved in or related to the use of walkways and common areas. The pool areas are unsupervised and NO LIFEGUARD is on duty. Tenants assume full responsibility while using the pools at aina nalu and will exercise caution at all times. All children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. 16. Additional Terms and Conditions: The undersigned tenant, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, assignors, executors, and administrators, fully releases and discharges actual Owners, Michael & Angela Leone, from any and all claims, demands, and causes of action by reason of injury or whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any of his/her guests as a result of, or in connection with the occupancy of the premises and agrees to hold actual Owners free and harmless of any claim or suit arising there from. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their Principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover Reasonable attorney fees and costs. 17. Hurricane Policy: No refunds will be given, we recommend you purchase travel insurance.

                      About the owner: Aloha and welcome to our beautiful Aina Nalu condo in Maui! We are both originally from Chicago, IL but have been traveling the country for a while. Before moving to Maui, we lived in San Diego, CA, Kaua'i, HI and Vail, CO. We moved to the island of Maui in 2006 and loved it so much that we decided to stay and start our family. Our first son, Jack, was born on Maui and spent the first three years of his life learning to swim in the pool at Aina Nalu, strolling the streets of Lahaina, and playing at the beaches of 505, Launiupoko and Baby Beach. He was the resident baby of Aina Nalu and the staff referred to him as 'Prince Jack.' Now as a family of four, we have moved to a house but come back and stay at Aina Nalu as often as we can. We also manage several other units at Aina Nalu, so let us know if you have a large group or need additional units. Come and take advantage of all that Lahaina has to offer.                       Why the Owner Chose Aina Nalu:
                      We fell in love with Aina Nalu before we even arrived in Maui! Angie found the website online and loved the location, the furnishings and the property amenities. Angie worked at the elementary school in Lahaina as well as on Lanai, so this was a perfect location for walking to work. As a surfing family, we appreciate the location for its proximity to three great surf breaks within walking distance (Harbors, Breakwall, and Shark Pit) and countless others within a five minute drive. It is also a fantastic location for those who are eco-conscious and interested in being able to walk to everything (as opposed to Kaanapali where you have to drive). We honeymooned in Bali and thus we love all of the interior furnishings which are imported from Indonesia. The property amenities are also in the Balinese style with thatch-roofed huts at the pool and Indonesian furniture in the poolhouse - even the garbage receptacles on property are imported from Bali! The two pools, jacuzzi and poolhouse are wonderful for relaxing, entertaining the children and just kicking back on vacation. Come enjoy the aloha spirit!
