This farmhouse is really incredible. Built over 200 years ago, and then totally renovated in 2006. The original character and charm of the house were maintained (including arched brick ceilings and painted tile floors), yet the kitchen and bathrooms were completely updated with all new appliances, granite counter tops and new lighting. The furnishings were all purchased after the renovation and everything is in excellent condition. In the garage you will find 2 Vespas, which are yours to ride through the Italian countryside, exploring an area of Italy known for it's wine and wonderful Piemontese style cooking and dining.
The farmhouse is conveniently located to many tourist destinations. It is 1 1/2 hour from downtown Milan or 1 hour to Torino. You can visit the Italian seaside or go to the Italian Alps in less 2 hours.
I have never had a guest that didn't love this place!

Beautiful Countryside Experience

We stayed at the farmhouse in mid September and had a really wonderful time. The area was gorgeous as the leaves were changing and the use of the scooters helps immensely to see all of the surrounding towns and vineyards. The farmhouse is well equipped with all the amenities one needs and is quite comfortable. The location is perfect for a quiet and romantic time, while still being close to the cities for day trips, but once you are here, you won't want to leave. The owner provides plenty of literature for activities and his suggestions were perfect. We will continue to recommend this place, and would love to visit again.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

We enjoyed a wonderful week in this beautiful house. The setting is lovely -- vineyards and pretty hilltop villages all around, and easy access to towns and cities, too. The house is very comfortable -- we really enjoyed the combination of old features and updated conveniences. Tim (owner) couldn't have been more helpful and responsive, and his neighbor, Anna, was equally welcoming. There is much to see and do (and eat --and drink!) in the area, we could easily have filled another week. A great place for wine and truffle lovers to explore
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+.

Our family loved your farmhouse. It slept all 7 of us comfortably and the modern updates met all of our needs & then some! We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evening and looking out over the hills, while we had a glass of wine. We made day trips to Turino and the Riviera, and particularly liked Acqui Terme...what a beautiful town! It was nice to come home in the evening to such a nice home. Before arriving, Tim was also a huge help and always quickly answered by emails & phone calls. That was great service!
