  Thanks, we really needed to get away for the night. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I didn't like the dead (fox, mink)hanging by fireplace, but everything else was awesome. Have already recommended to friends. I forgot to write in book, guess I will have to go back again soon. :) You said be honest so I was. AnneMarie Smith

  Our first stay at the the Treehouse was a year ago for our anniversary. We went back agan this year in addition to several Cranmore Cottages. This is our absolute favorite getaway! The decor and ambiance make for a very relaxing and romantic get away. The fireplace, jacuzzi under the trees and covered porch are all amazing. Love all the little details, and was happily surprised with wine and cheese at our last stay. I cannot say how much we love the this cottage!

  I have been to many cabins in Western NC over the years and I must say the Tree House is my favorite. The decor was absolutely charming and I found myself walking around looking at all the details! Whether sitting on the deck, in the hot, or nestled on the couch with my sweetie it was total relaxation!

  Stayed at the Tree House Cottage in March & found my stay there to be very peaceful relaxing & enchanting, but not to far a drive from Hendersonville. The cottage is delightfully decorated & comfortable, nestled in the tree tops, true Smokey’s experience!! Had many delightful nights sitting by the roaring open fire, hope to stay there again on my next trip to the USA. HIGHLY RECOMEND!! Sandra the owner was so VERY helpful & nothing was too much trouble for her!! Have stayed in three of her properties & each time it has been an excellent experience. Gary UK

  When we made our reservation, we had hoped for a neat place that made us feel like we were in the mountains. No hotels or condos but a cabin in the woods. The Treehouse did not let us down. It's rustic feeling was well thought out, with rough logs for a kitchen bar and tree limbs coming through the walls. It also had a multi-tiered deck with a nice hot tub. We would highly recommend this property to anyone.

  My husband took me here to get away from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives with 6 kids for my birthday. It was very clean and I loved the layout of the treehouse. We were both disappointed because the hot tub did not work and the water pressure in the faucets was horrible. I did have a nice weekend away from my kids but didn't get to relax in the hot tub like i really wanted to do. On the way back home we visited Lake Lure and decided that is where we will go next time. I loved it in Lake Lure. Heather the property manager of the treehouse was very kind. Thank you for sharing your tree house with us.

  Owner response: Yes, unfortunately a part had to be ordered for the hot tub and took a couple of days to get. Works perfectly now. The water pressure has also been repaired and works great now. Visit our cranmore cottages website for more reviews and more cottages.

  Three friends and myself stayed this past weekend at the Tree Cottage, Hendersonville, NC and most everthing was good. However, we had no water pressue in the Kitchen or bathroom sinks and this was reported not just once but three times. We were told maintenance would be there soon but we never saw anyone. We checked out on Sunday 4/18/10 and we had to spend the better part of our last morning attempting to wash the dishes with water barely trickling. Since Cranmore Cottages was notified and promised to check out the water pressure issue, we were disappointed this was not handled. Otherwise, the cottage is comfortable and we had a good time just being together.

  Recommended for: Girls getaway.

  Owner response: We sent our maintenance to the cottage, then had to get a plumber to fix the issue. He did correct the issue but it was after the guest left.

  The Treehouse Cottage was so wonderful for us. The house is so beautiful and welcoming. We loved the chocolates on the beds and the cozy throw blankets. We came here for our honeymoon and we have enjoyed every minute of it! Every night we would spend hours in the hot tub.... soooo relaxing. It was also great having everything we need here at the house...pots, pans, dishes, towels etc. Thank you for such a beautiful experience. The weather was perfect and the waterfalls are just breathtaking. We will tell all our friends about you!

  We just wanted to let you know we had a wonderful time at your "Treehouse Cottage". We had high expectations for our honeymoon and were not let down. The decor and atmosphere was perfect and very romantic. We will definitely consider staying at Cranmore Cottages again!
