This home is directly across the street from famed Champagne Hot Pond where endangered green sea turtles are know to hang out. This home is also located near the black sand beach of Kehena and the old Hawaii town of Pahoa. It is about an hour's drive to either Hilo or Volcanoes National Park.
Kapoho is the heart of Old Hawaii and to get there you have a beautiful drive through a breathtaking tropical forest and than past working papaya farms. While staying there be sure to take a drive down route 137 for unforgettable views of the Pacific. The home itself is very comfy and casual. Enjoy the perfect cooling effect of the trade winds and wake up each morning to the sound of the tropical birds.
