We rented this property for ourselves and for guests who were attending our son's wedding in Sarasota. It was spacious, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the pool and Holmes Beach which is about 5 minutes away. The beaches of Siesta Key which are about 25 minutes away are worth the trip. We ate on Anna Marie Island at a restaurant on the beach which was lovely and the food was great--I think it was called the Beachcomber. There are grocery stores and other restaurants nearby, but not within walking distance. This property was perfect for us and I would recommend it to others who are looking for a home-like setting away from the crowd.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
