Take a break from public transportation. No need for cars and shuttles here. Ski Time Square, Torrian Plum Plaza, and Gondola Square have many of the best bars, restaurants, shopping, entertainment, sports shops and rental shops in Steamboat. All are within A "short" walking distance.
A view of the gondola will no doubt entice you to a romantic and scenic nighttime ride up the mountain where you can choose from two great restaurants and enjoy a horse drawn sleigh ride. If a trip downtown is on the agenda, Steamboat Transit is a complimentary service and is a stones throw away. While downtown take in a rodeo, watch olympic 90 meter and aerial ski jumping, ride the alpine slide, or float the river on a tube.
