An excellent condo! Beautiful views from balcony of ocean and pool(grounds). Everything was supplied! Store nearby and owner was very easy to deal with!Photos were exact of the condo and surroundings! I would highly recommend this for adults or adults with children! Owner has left all sorts of things for children to use at pool or beach! Excellent-restaurants, stores, excellent bike path-something for everyone!Will definetly visit again !

Where do I begin? We did much research in planning our vacation that we just completed. I must say, your property in Kappa has "set the bar" quite high as it relates to location and accommodations. Your place is not only super clean, it is perfectly located on the island. Waking up and taking coffee down to enjoy the sunrise and Whales at play, I can't imagine a better way to start our day. Anyone looking for a close place to eat, Wahoo is close, the food is very good and Johnny our server was very good (we ate there twice). The onsite restaurant Oceanside also does a nice job as well as the Bull Shed next door. Beaches, beaches and more beaches, Polihale was breathtaking! Even had a full rainbow appear (end to end) about 75 yards from us while we were there. Your place provided us with exactly what we needed; a no fuss no muss, amazingly romantic trip! The island really left a mark in both of our hearts, one that we will always cherish, one that we hope to get back too soon! Thanks again for everything, by the way it was 10 degrees Fahrenheit below zero the day we came back home.:) Sincerely, T & K

Stayed here on my honeymoon and absolutely loved this unit and the resort itself. The condo is spacious, clean and full of little amenities that you'll need for your stay - not to mention offering a fanastic view of the resort's pool and the ocean. The owners Laura and Don were both easy to work with and friendly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone looking for a condo in Kauai that combines great value with comfort, romance, and a view!

My husband and I fell in love with this property and condo. It was everything we were looking for. Clean, comfortable, spacious, top notch. We were very pleased with the resturant onsite as well. We ate there twice and the food and service was excellent. It was nice to have a restaurant on the property if you don't want to go out. We would highly recommend this property and condo.

We had a great time at the penthouse rental at Waipouli Beach. The condo was beautiful and had every amenity we could think of. Great kitchen, comfortable seating in the living area, a very comfortable bed, and a great location on the WBR property itself. Being across the street from Safeway was very convenient for stocking the kitchen. The Kauai Village Shopping Center also has a Long's drug store, restaurants, and pubs etc. We were perfectly located on the island for northern and southern/western day trips.

We had an amazing stay at the WBR. The unit was everything we hoped for, and Laura was very friendly and easy to book with. The location of WBR is super convenient with grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance. The central location is also great for going up to the North shore or down South. We fell in love with Kauai and will definitely return. Mahalo!

We stayed in this unit in early May 2012. The unit is terrific like everyone else has already stated. Most anything a person could want was provided. This was our 3rd stay at Wapouli Beach Resort, the first two times we rented thru Outrigger's own site. Staying there we learned a little about VRBO and decided to try it this time. Laura did a great job and was very timely in taking care of us. Having landed in Hawaii and going to the owners office to receive our parking (free unlike many other facilities) pass, and getting into the unit and finding everything was very clean and in order, we never did have to bother Laura again. I especially like the fact that things like laundry det, paper towels, salt and pepper, and a few other things that are not provided in the Outrigger rentals we have been in we're in this unit. This is a first class unit with a very good view and I think she treats her customers with care. We enjoyed the hot tubs (3) and the pool as well. We found the pool cool at first, but quite refreshing once you got in. Wapouli folks take great care to keep this place in top notch shape. It is quite beautiful to just sit and look at. The only drawback is the wifi service is very slow and temperamental. One thing that goes un-noticed. There are none of Kauai's chickens found on the facility, they must run them off somehow. We stayed at another location for a few more days and were awaken to roosters crowing in the mornings at "oh-dark thirty". I took a day and played golf at Poipu Bay and the wife did the spa over at the Hyatt only because it was close to the golf course. We both enjoyed ourselves. The best meal we had was down behind the Coconut Marketplace is the Hukuili Lanai restaurant and we did the 5 course wine pairing dinner. Portions seemed small, but we were both very full by the end and the food and wine choices were excellent. Price was $40 per plate including the tastings. All in all, nothing but great things to say and we look forward to returning soon. (thanks Laura) Steve and Kathleen

I highly recommend A401 at Waipouli Beach Resort. We stayed here 6 nights in February 2012 and were very pleased with the condo. The photos accurately represent the condo. There is a small balcony off the living room - it is too small to have chairs but there is a table and chairs in the living room right next to the balcony window/sliding door. The larger balcony is off the bedroom and it has 2 chairs and a table. The primary balcony view is of the attractive resort's swimming pool but the ocean view is also very nice. I think that the view is the nicest of any 1-bedroom condo at the resort - but some of the 2-bedroom units have a better view. The beach is great for sitting in a no-charge resort lounger but not great for swimming. Neither the pool or the beach was crowded. The interior of the condo is first rate. Top quality appliances in the spacious kitchen. The condo was very clean and well-maintained. The owner, Laura, is very organized and everything was ready when we arrived. we had no problems at all. There is shopping nearby with many nearby restaurants. We did not eat at the Oasis Restaurant located at the resort. The best restaurant we visited was Duke's Canoe Club in Lihue. We got there early and had a table with a great view of the bay. Traffic is slow in the area between Lihue and Kapaa but Kapaa is centrally located and is a good spot to stay on the island. We'll stay here again. We really liked it.

Having never used VRBO before we didn't know what to expect. What a wonderful surprise! This unit is exceptionally well appointed and spotlessly clean. The staff have been welcoming and helpful. We have enjoyed the grounds and pool so much we haven't done much sightseeing. Tonight we are planning to use the barbecue and enjoy the sunset from our lanai. Thank you so much for the memories!

We could not have asked for a better place to stay. The condo met all our expectations and more. Very clean, everything worked, excellent location. The bed was comfortable and the central air worked great. The location in Kapaa is central, so it was no problem traveling north or south with our rental car. The Safeway store is right across the street for groceries. Would go back in a heart beat. Owners made the rental very smooth and they are local.

This is long overdue, however, I spent my 40th birthday week (2 actually) in A401. Everything that is in the description of the property is true to form. The condo was exactly what we wanted and was very comfortable. We spoke directly with Don and Laura while booking and they were very helpful. I would highly suggest renting your condo from a private owner...from speaking with others who booked through another source...we got a much better deal and our money went directly to the owners. The property itself was imaculate. I enjoyed watching the hard working maintenance people making sure that the pool was perfect each morning. READ THIS>>>EAT AT THE OASIS!! Ryan the bartender is awesome, dry humor, just smile and order a 100 proof margarita and ORDER FOOD. Zack is a spectacular chef and deserves your business. We had a wonderful 2 weeks and look forward to returning, I have no reason that I would stay anywhere else!

Don & Laura, Thank yoy so much for helping us enjoy our honeymoon. The condo is excellent & the resort is even better. We couldn't have had a better time! Everything was perfect, the locals & the staff have been more than helpful on our trip. The Island is Beautiful! We took a whole day just driving & sight seeing. It has been very relaxing.

We've had a great time exploring the Island the past 4 days. We drove up to Ke'e beach and also Waimea Canyon. This morning we took a helicopter ride on Blue Hawaiian, whcih was fantastic. We enjoyed Smiths Luau & show. It was one of the best we've seen too. We really liked the condo. We're glad the 4 nights were on Kauai were available between bookings. It was nice being able to look down on the pool area and the nice ocean view. We also liked the big kitchen and washer/dryer. Thanks, Jim & Nancy

Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful condo with us. We came to Kauai for a wedding and have had a great time. The wedding was on the beach in front of the resort. Afterwards the reception was in the Tiki Bar, the food & drinks, entertainment & staff were wonderful. During our stay of 10 days we were able to relax, enjoy good food, soak up the sun, and spend time w/family & friends. Comparing you unit to the 4 other units our group was occupying yours by far was the Best!!! We had enough essentials to last our whole trip. It was nice to have these things furnished. The washer/dryer are wonderful and having the extra towels was great too! Thanks again for your generosity.:-) We hope to be back soon! Jenna & Mike

Laura & Don, Thank you so much. Your condo was perfect for us. So sad we're going home today... We will be back with our son next year. Six nights here and I think we did the whole Island, still wish we had more time. Some of the highlights... Captain Andy's Zodiac trip to NaPali coast is a must!!!! Ask for CaptainTed... Olympic Cafe became our fav... food & staff were the best... Thanks again!!

Don & Laura, We got to stay in both A401 & A101... We absolutley loved both of them.. the view, the pools, the ocean, the gardens. It's definitely paradise here. There are so many incredible things to do and see on this Island. We have loved every minute!!!! Thanks for everything...

Laura & Don, We were here on our honeymoon and have loved every second of this Island. This condo was perfect for us. With a great location in between the North & South shore. We were able to experience many of the adventures this Island has to offer. The NaPali coast is unbelievable!!! Thanks you for providing this great condo to us.

Wow!!!! This was a Great place to stay for the last 5 ddays. I'm already looking forward to planning a trip back for next year. With only staying 5 days here we spent most of the time by the pool.. Next time here we will tour the Island and do more things. Your condo was outstanding, it really made our time here very relaxing. Your have done a great job!!! Keep up the good work!!! It was great to have Safeway & Longs across the complex. The walk on the beach was very cool to see all the sea life swimming in the pools of water.. The staff did a great job of keeping the grounds clean it was very simple to get the towel & find a good spot at the pool. Thanks again for sharing your condo with us, we will be back and look forward to staying with you once again.... Have a great year!!
