Large, beautiful European style home on the shores of Leesville Lake in Lynch Station, Virginia.

All brand new furniture including leather couches and sofas, two king size beds and two queen beds, persian rugs, and everything you could possibly need to 'get away from it all.' The house has a two-person Jacuzzi in the huge master bath as well as a tiled, glass-walled shower. The kitchen features high-end cabinetry and granite countertops. No expense has been spared in its construction.

Leesville Lake is the sister of Smith Mountain Lake -- both were created as a hydro-electric project by American Electric Power and are connected at the Smith Mountain Lake Dam. Water levels fluctuate more than at Smith Mountain Lake, although Leesville is generally unaffected by drought, and high water levels
generally take place during the day when electricity is most needed. This lake has been rated as having some of the cleanest water in the entire state.

The house has a gentle slope to the over 200 feet of shoreline. Adjacent to the home is a community dock. Beautiful landscaping accentuates the already gorgeous surroundings. The owner has two kids under four years old, and as the home is primarily the owner'svacation home, the house is stocked with kids toys and games. The house is at the end of a cul-de-sac, and is especially well suited to families with children -- there is NO traffic on this road or cove.

You want to relax? Hang out on the back deck after dark. You'll hear the chiping of crickets, bullfrogs and tree frogs, and all types of waterfowl. It is incredibly calming.

A six-person hot tub on the back patio allows relaxing evenings with a glass of wine. The gameroom downstairs features a pool table, bar and home theatre system with a projector for the DVD -- watch movies on a REALLY big screen -- eight feet across!

The Runaway Bay community is still very private. Leesville Lake is much quieter than SML in terms of noise, boat traffic and life in general. If you are truly looking to 'get away' this is the place. Many people compare Leesville to the Smith Mountain Lake of 20 years ago. The community itself is very high end, with tennis courts, a pavilion, a private boat launch and day docks, and wide, paved streets almost void of traffic that are great for long walks.
This property is best suited to family gatherings - it is NOT a party house.

We have outfitted the house with everything a family could possibly want on a vacation. Included in amenities for guests use are: 2 kayaks, jon boat with 5 HP motor, peddle boat, floating sunbathing island, water toys, etc. We also supply all linens, plates, glasses and towels. You need to bring nothing other than personal items and food. Leave your worries behind!


If you are looking for a truly relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the city in a super high-end property, you'll love this fully outfitted property. If you'd rather dodge jet-skiers, hear people yelling all night and be packed in with thousands of other lake-goers, this one isn't for you!

The owner has a zero-tolerance policy for breaking the rental guidelines. The community is quiet and peaceful, and it needs to remain that way, regardless of the existence of this rental.
