Grand Marina Villas overlooks a tranquil boat filled Marina in Paradise Village, a five-star beachfront resort considered the most complete resort on Banderas Bay. Enjoy the many excellent restaurants on or very near the resort or prepare a meal in your deluxe kitchen. A gas barbecue is also available for your use in the common area near the pool. GMV is located next to the Paradise Village shopping center and is only a short walk to the resort hotel and beach. The complex is gated and has 24 hour security. The shopping center contains many retail stores and restaurants, a bank and ATM, grocery/drug store, deli, coffee bar and Internet Cafe.
Paradise Village resort offers a full service spa, message, health/beauty treatments as well as exercise and yoga classes on a fee for service basis. For a small fee, you will also have access to a world class "Sports Club" (200,000 sq. ft.) which includes tennis, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, lap pool, children's pool and play gymnasium, state of the art fitness equipment, pilates, spinning, and experienced trainers for your assistance. Guests can pay $75 US Dollars for up to five people to use the Sports Club for the duration of their stay.
Play golf at "El Tigre", Paradise Village's 18 hole championship golf course, driving range, practice green, restaurant, pro-shop and European Spa. Guests or GMV enjoy a discount to the prevailing green fees -in 2006, guest fees were $95 US Dollars prime time and $75 US Dollars after 1:30 pm, not including taxes - rates are subject to change. The immediate vicinity around Banderas Bay includes nine golf courses. Four are within 10 minutes of Paradise Village.
Paradise Village is only a 10 minute taxi ride to the Airport and 20 minutes to downtown. Bus service is very good and inexpensive and is approximately 30 minutes to downtown. If you want adventure, book a tour with nearby Vallarta Adventures or many other tour providers located in town or at the Marina. Whale watching, fishing charters, snorkelling, zip trekking through the treetops, dune buggies, horses etc. Paradise Village is located mid-way between Puerto Vallarta and Punta de Mita (north). Rent a car and see the entire area.
