My husband and I stayed here for five nights this month and absolutely loved it! Everything is even better than described! The view is incredible, looking directly out onto the beach. We watched dolphins from our balcony one morning! The condo was very clean and well maintained. It had lots of little extras- soap, dish detergent, laundry detergent, paper towels, salt and pepper, beach chairs, and umbrella! We asked Kaye after we arrived about where to get tennis equipment. She arranged for the condo to have two racquets and tennis balls for us to use, which we thoroughly enjoyed! The condo area was beautiful. It was fairly quiet while we were there. There are two pools and the heated pool was the primary one we used. The private beach is just across a little road that was always easy to cross. About a 3 minute walk from the condo. The beach was not busy at all and there were several times when we were the only ones on the beach! The weather was VERY windy while we were there (20-30 mph) and kept us from enjoying the beach fully every day, but we were thrilled to still be able to enjoy it from our room when it became too windy to stay out. One thing we did not expect was to have a private cabana room by the pool. There is another key after you get into the condo for a sitting area/bathroom that are locked and private just for you by the pool. It was wonderful! We often put the beach chairs/umbrella in there for ease of taking them back and forth to the beach. This was well maintained and a wonderful addition to the condo! We highly recommend Dewey Destin seafood. That was our favorite restaurant! It was by far the best seafood my husband said he'd ever had! We weren't thrilled with McGuire's Irish Pub and both disliked Fudpucker's. We cooked a lot in the condo and all the pans/pots included made it easy to do this. We went parasailing with Just Chute Me and had a good time. We also went to Hurricane Lanes for bowling, pool, and ping pong, which was a lot of fun. Lots of little things to do around the area! My husband is already talking about wanting to go back to Destin next year and stated he can't imagine staying anywhere else! Thanks for a great place to stay for our first wedding anniversary! This Condo is great I can't say enough about it! Located in a convenient spot very close to beach and any where else you would want to go as far as restaurants and shopping! Great neighborhood very relaxing and laid back. Will definitely stay here again 5 stars!!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This was one of the best beach accommodation and experience. Destin is amazing and this condo made it a perfect vacation getaway. Kaye's condo is not only spacious, clean and homey, she also adds all those little extras like beach chairs and umbrellas, fully stocked toiletries. She is very helpful and I had such a hassle free arrangement. You won't go wrong with this condo! The view is simply amazing. It is truly a home away from home. This is the second week we stayed at this property and enoyed it even more this time. The owner is great to work with and is extemely helpful. Her unit has been updated with a Flat Screen TV and is nicely furnished. The location is the best on the property with an unobstructed view that includes the beach. Most other places on the property have a water view but are too far to be able to see the actual georgous white sand Destin is so famous for. Another benefit to staying in this unit is that it now includes access to a cabana by the pool. This is a wonderful convenience as it has a refrigerator and a private bathroom. The location of The Amalfi Coast is perfect as well. It has a private beach access and is close to shopping and a number of excellent restaurants. You won't be disappointed!!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We have been to the Destin area many times, but this was our first stay at the Amalfi Coast Resort. It was a wonderful condo with a beautiful view of the ocean and those snow white beaches from it's balcony! Loved the floor plan with a big master bedroom, hall bunk beds and pullout couch. Plenty of space, and the condo had everything you needed for a relaxing get away. An additional surprise was a cabana room we could use down by the beautiful pool area. It would be a great place to cool off in the summer and get out of the sun. We will definitely be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The owner, Kaye, was extremely responsive and helpful. As others have mentioned, this condo has the best location (4th floor facing the Gulf) in the complex. The balcony has unobstructed views of the Gulf. The beach is a short 2-minute walk across the street. The condo is large and spacious. A family of 4-5 would have plenty of room. The location in Miramar Beach west of Destin is excellent. There are multi-million dollar homes across from the Amalfi Coast. There is an excellent Outlet Mall (15-minute walk/5-minute drive). I highly recommend Lin's Asian Diner next to Winn Dixie across from the Outlet Mall. It looks like a dump from the outside, but the food is excellent. The most popular seafood restaurant, Pompano Joes, is okay seafood, but overpriced. We had a much better meal buying fresh fish from the seafood market in Destin and preparing it ourselves. The condo was wonderful. The view was great, we saw dolphins one morning from our balcony. The condo is very spacious and included everything you would need. We are looking forward to renting this same unit next year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This was our second time at the condo and we come from about an 1 hr. east of Toronto, Ontario. We were there last year same week and this year we stretched it to 10 days since we enjoyed it so much last year. 10 days was great, those extra days made a huge difference. Weather was prefect, beach and water were beautiful and of course the accommodations were absolutely top notch. We didn't venture too far away since we really come for a complete rest and to sit on the beach and read and people watch. This year we treated ourselves to the chaise's and umbrella's on the beach set up every day by Jon and the company he works for. This particular week is very quiet which we really appreciate. It's easy to drive around, no traffic and the shops are quite happy to see you since it is slower than normal after the winter rush and before the summer one. We were even able to meet the condo owners which was really nice. We had a really nice visit with them. We also made the drive up to Pensacola on the tuesday morning for the 8:30 a.m. practice of the Blue Angels at the base in Pensacola which also houses the National Naval Aviation Museum. It was worth the drive which wasn't that far, but it is a slow drive. Anyone staying who has the time to make that trip will enjoy it, it's pretty much a day trip for sure. But it's all free and very interesting. We have nothing negative to say about our stay at the Amalfi Coast Resort other than we wish we could have stayed longer! It is a lovely spot and as we drove around down there, we really do feel that in our opinion it's the nicest place in the area. Small low rise architecture (4 stories), beautiful grounds which are constantly being maintained, beautiful pools, great rates and amenities and dedicated owners who have provided everything that a guest/visitor may want in a vacation property rental. The local restaurants are fantastic (Busters, Louis and Louis and Dewey Destin's to name a few) and grocery shopping is only 10 minutes walk up the street and so is the Silver Sands Outlet Mall. We have only been home a little over a week and we are already planning our trip down for next year. Selfishly we hope that it doesn't get so popular that we miss out on our week in the condo. Compared to the high rise condo's in the area and distance that you have to hike to the beaches, this is a dream location. Certainly give it a try if you are considering this area for a vacation, it's fantastic.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I could write a book on how wonderful our stay was at this property! The pictures don't do it justice. The condo is beautiful, spacious and exceptionally clean. The gulf view was perfect, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was huge, and the laundry room was roomy and even had detergent for us to use! My husband and I decided that this is the best condo at Amalfi Coast Resort! Closest to the road, 4th floor view and the corner balcony that also has a view of the pools! The resort property was perfectly manicured and beautiful. This was an amazing vacation! In all of our travels, and bookings through HomeAway, we have never had such an enjoyable experience as our correspondences with Kaye. She is the most kind, effecient and enjoyable person ever!
