Cove Cottage is perched on a hill overlooking Cove Beach, Oregon. Located between Cannon Beach and Manzanita, the house is surrounded by old growth forests of Oswald West State Park. Parts of the Oregon Islands National Wildlife Sanctuary are visible from the living room.

Cove Beach is one of the least known beaches on the Northern Oregon Coast. During low tide, a vast sand beach is exposed at Cove Beach. Because most people don't watch the tide tables, it is common to have the entire 2-mile beach to yourself -- a rare treat not only for Oregon, but for most of the world.
During high tide, there is not much sand exposed, but you can drive one mile to Arch Cape Beach where there is always sand. Or, within 7 miles you can visit Manzanita Beach (7 miles long), Hug Point Beach, Arcadia Beach or Cannon Beach -- each of which offer miles of scenic sandy beach.
Cove Cottage was recently completely remodeled. The 1500 square foot home features a panoramic ocean view, a large great room, 3 bedrooms, an upstairs/loft with spiral staircase, all new appliances, gorgeous wood floors, and an 1100 square foot deck made from sustainably harvested Red Balau Mahogany.
When you make a reservation, we will be referring you to Arch Cape Property Services. We use Arch Cape Property Services because they do a great job, they are local and they have been managing rental properties in the area for 15 years. They will take care of all your questions, provide keys, and inspect Cove Cottage before your arrival. They also ensure that the house is absolutely spotless. A thorough 5-hour cleaning is performed after every rental and a cleaning inspection is made shortly before your arrival.

This is a wonderful Beach House. Rob and I enjoyed the peace and tranquility. We made friends with the big black dog who greeted us throughout our stay. We also made friends with a sea gull who came to be fed as well. We loved the comfortable beds, the fireplace, and the deck. The ocean views were beautiful. Such a peaceful place. Wonderful place to decompress and become renewed. We thank God for this wonderful blessing and are thankful you share your home with others. Warm memories, never to be forgotten... We enjoyed your cabin so much. Our family of 6 loed being together in this beautiful place. Favorite things were... Julia (age 6): beach, skychair Mikayla (age 9): beach, few people to share the beach with, my new kite, skychair, bean bag, my own room and spiral stairs Lara (age 5): going to the beach, my room with Julia, spiral stairs, celebrating my birthday here. Karissa (age 1 1/2): the "a-wa" (water) at the beach, sky chair, new kite Daddy Mike: all of it, Mo's chowder Mommy Beth: sunsets, seeing lots of pelicans take off in flight from the beach, seeing my daughter's joy as they flew new kites. My family enjoyed the peace and quiet of Oregon. The weather was brisk and windy, but no rain. We did have a day of fog. We had many visitors including Samson (dog from down the street), Johnathon (seagull that arrived hungry for popcorn morning and evening), and two brown bunny rabbits. Kids found many interesting things on beach during low tide. We drove to Costco near Astoria and the Tillamook cheese Factory. The place was great for sampling cheeses, ice cream and fudge. The tour was free and very informative. The days were long from sunrise at 6:00 am to sunset at 9:45 pm. I especially liked watching the birds swoop around the cape area. The beach access was difficult due to rocks, but a wonderful stretch of sandy beach can be found 8 miles south in Manzanita. Have fun! P.S. My brother enjoyed the wi-fi computer connection to check his stocks. My nieces loved the movie selection and cable TV.

What a precious four days we have spend as a family - the last time we will be together for a log while, as our youngest is leaving for the Air Force in a few short weeks. So we came to our favorite place to store up some wonderful memories. We hiked Hug Cove's old beach road, explored beach caves, watched our boys skim boarding, ate peanut butter pie and other delicious stuff at Mo's and let time slow down. We couldn't have hoped to make better memories! Thank you so much for sharing your little piece of heaven.
