Great place -better than expected. Staff at Maui Elderado were very helpful. The unit was very spacious, lots of windows, comfortable, ideal location and a view with amazing sunsets! It is only an 8 minute walk to Whalers Village where we watched 2 free hula presenations while eating our take out food from our favorite the Hula Grill. My morning runs were delightful with the path that runs along the beach resorts all the way thro and back with our resort sitting in the middle, I found by going up the road to the back of Sheridan Black Rock ( actually going into the viewing area) gave me an amazing view that was breathtaking - perfect way to end my run. The rest of my family would go to Valley Isle Fitness every morning which was only a 5 minute walk from our condo. They have a coupon on line for a cheaper daily rate. Black Rock had great snorkeling and easy to access right infront of our beach cabana, making morning snorkels easy to do. Never used the beach cabana, but looked like it was well loved by the many people hanging out there. We did a beach adventure everyday and found coming "home" was enjoyable and very relaxing! Kichen was very cooking friendly and very easy to clean! The BBQs are literally 80 steps from our back door :) and while using the BBQ we had a great time playing shuffle board. The ONLY bummer, were the sliding glass doors continually getting stuck or off track so it made it difficult to open the doors fully to enjoy the Maui warm breeze. We woudl definately go back - thanks again your vacation home is comfortable, beautiful & in a perfect location!

Review #[123345] Review Title we stayed from jan7 to jan21st. the unit was in a great location with ocean view and lots of privacy being an end unit. It was very roomy and well configured for two families to share with bedrooms on either side of a very spacious common area in the middle. Being on the ground froor was also great for the baby being able to play on the grass right in front of the condo. The negative side of this location however was that being right next to the fairway and hedges it was sometimes noisy as early as 6 AM with mowers and hedge trimmers and leaf blowers working in very close proximity. Also being on the ground floor in a tropical climate there are always issues with insects and unwanted 'vistiters'. We had a considerable ant problem the whole time .When we called the office on Monday after our arrival they said they had a scheduled spraying on thursday and they wou

We took our first trip to Maui this year and stayed at the Eldorado as it was recommended by a co-worker. I will keep this simple....We "ARE" coming back and hope to book this same unit again for 2012. The Eldorado was fantastic as far as we are concerned . Everything you need is here! The cabana is well maintained, has everything you could possibly ask for and was very clean. We spent every day down there!! Usually there before it opened at 9 and packed a lunch. We cooked pizza, nachos, had blended drinks (ice machine on site)etc. Snorkeling was great around "Black Rock" but we found it to be even better a short distance down the beach in front of the resort with the greenish colored roof (I think it was a Westin). We saw several large turtles and a ton of fish. Take an underwater camera. Talked to several locals who recommended restaurants in Lahaina. My kids loved the "Cool Cat Cafe" and we ended up there 3 times!! The burgers are fantastic but lots of other options as well. We used the grills at the main pool area several times and found they were always clean and never busy. I made the comment several times that I would have a hard time ever going to an All Inclusive resort again. Cooking meals here is part of the vacation and was just as relaxing as everything else. I looked forward to cooking at night!! If you forgot something from your shopping trip to "Costco, Longs, Safeway" and so on, the shop inside the main lobby has everything you could need. I believe the shop is family owned and we were always greeted with a huge smile. Willie and Jeff (guys that drove the golf cart) were always polite, joking, laughing and smiling. Front desk and cabana staff were great as well. We talked to several people who were both owners and repeat guests. Everyone was helpful, friendly and fun to talk to. We met several families that having been going to the Eldorado for annually for years. One couple for over 40 years in a row. We had friends staying down the beach at a newer resort and other friends staying in another town. Both families came over for a visit and could not believe how perfect this unit was for a family. A huge unit, access to 3 pools, bbqs and the biggest selling point..the CABANA!! I would recommend a stop at Costco (Not negotiable), Long's Pharmacy, Basil Tomatos , "Front Street" for shopping and eating out and of course Whaler's Village where my family got some great deals!!! Do not hesitate to book this unit. We are coming back!!

My husband and I stayed here in August to celebrate our anniversary. We were a little skeptical before we arrived because of another review about the cleanliness and bugs issues. Tommy had assured us that everything would be clean and ready for our arrival--and he was right! We found the unit very clean and welcoming. I HATE bugs so I was constantly on the look-out for them--but never saw ANY. The beds were clean and comfortable. I'm not sure what the other guest was complaining about--this place was perfect! We absolutely love the location of this condo and the condo itself is beautiful. The rooms are well furnished and very spacious. There are plenty of modern updates to enjoy inside the unit like netflix on the t.v. and wifi through the unit. Every morning we enjoyed eating breakfast on the Lanai as we watched the ocean. The beach is just a short walk away and the beach cabana provides everything you could want down by the ocean--towels, chair loungers, cold water, and a kitchen if you want to eat down there. One of my favorite things about this Condo is the privacy you feel while you are at "home" while still being so close to the ocean with beaches and snorkeling, as well as being just a short walk to whaler's village, with shops and plenty of restaurants. One night we took advantage of the BBQ grills up by the pool which was great. From the pool area you have a great view over palm trees right to the ocean with other islands on the horizon--it is simply stunning! We love this place and I can't wait to go back! Thanks Tommy!

We love the Maui Eldorado and this condo too! It was perfect and comfortable for our family of four and had everything we needed for our stay last week. The location is the best part! Fabulous views of the golf course, beach cabanas and ocean were a treat each day. We loved coffee on the patio in the morning and cocktails while watching the sunset. Whaler's Village is a short walk away and Lahaina is about a 10 minute drive. We would definitely recommend this unit. Thank you Tommy for all your help. We hope to return again soon!

We are frequent travelers to Maui, and unfortunately this is the worst place we have stayed. Since there has only been one review posted on this unit in the past 2 years, we wanted to give an honest opinion as to the condition of it during our 2 week stay. Upon our arrival, the unit was dirty, the ac wasn't working, and there was a horrible mold/mildew smell throughout. The floors, countertops, table, kitchen & bathrooms all needed to be cleaned and there were tiny bugs in the master bed. Areas of the unit have been updated, but the majority of it shows a lot of wear. There are sliding glass doors surrounding the unit, which is great, but the door tracks are filled with bugs and gecko droppings, and the curtains are horribly stained. We also encountered cockroaches in the unit (bathroom & bedrooms) on several of the days we were there. The management staff was friendly and accomodating as they had to enter the condo to work on the ac units. They fixed the cooling problem, but the mold/mildew smell was blowing from the ac so that never did resolve. While the unit felt very unsanitary, the location is great being next to the golf course. It's fairly private, being an end-unit, and is a great size for a family. The location is great, within walking distance to Black Rock & Whalers Village. The condos are individually owned, so the condition varies greatly from one unit to another. We had family members vacationing with us and they rented another unit close by which was completely updated, spotless and didn't have the moldy odor to it. Unfortunately, we can't recommend this particular unit in its current condition. Had we been given an accurate description of its condition, we would definitely have chosen to stay elsewhere.

We shared this unit with another couple. It worked out GREAT. It has two separate bedroom suites and a LARGE common area. We had other people staying in the same complex and used this unit as a meeting place. Perfect! This complex is away from the beach but this unit has a pick a boo view. The décor is a bit out dated but comfortable all the same. Our favorite feature was that the whole front area (both suites and common area) have sliding glass doors that open up. Perfect for Hawaii. We would rent this unit again. Thanks

First of all, Linda Hatch was great to work with. She really made the whole rental process a breeze. The unit, L105 was nice and spaceous and clean and really helped make our experience in Maui unforgetable. If we ever come back to Maui, we would stay in the same unit in a heart-beat. It was perfect for two couples to share. The staff (Willy) was great and we really enjoyed the pool area and cabana on the beach. We will recommend your property to everyone.

This is one of the best locations I've ever stayed at on Maui. The view is fabulous, the location of the condo is private and very convenient to everything. We enjoyed strolling the "Beach Walk" each morning before finding a spot to catch some rays at either the pool or the beach. We snorkeled right off the Eldorado beach and saw giant sea turtles, fire coral, and too many cool fish to list. We will definitely make this our number one place to stay next time to week visit Maui!

We loved this place. The kids had an absolutely wonderful time in the pool meeting other kids from across the globe. We loved everything about our unit. It was everything we had hoped for and more. We would recommend this to any family wanting a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. The unit was huge, well equipped.

This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. We had no problems with the transactions with the home owner or at the condo. It was comfortable and well-appointed. The beds were great and the couch and chairs were wonderful to veg out on in the evening. Overall, do not hesitate to stay at this great place near Black Rock and Ka anapali Beach.

We had a great time at this condo! So many of our favorite spots like Black Rock & Whaler's Village were easy walks along the beach. The corner lot gave great views of beautifully manicured greens and gorgeous sunsets. The condo itself was attractive and clean. Thank you for 2 very enjoyable weeks.

This condo is huge and ideal for 4 people, with the 2 queens in the 2nd bedroom. The view is beautiful, not blocked by other buildings and the beach close by. For the price, this is a great deal. Close to Black Rock (great snorkeling) and Whaler's Village, without having to pay the high rates on Kaanapali strip. Only negatives are the room has a musty odor to it (bring some scented candles) and the king size mattress in the main bedroom could be replaced. All in all though, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks Linda!!
Owner response:Brad, we bought a new Mattress, and we had a leak in the kitchen wall that we did not know about, thanks for the heads up, it is now fixed, and smelling good! Linda
