The Red Barn warmly invites you to a quality, self catering experience. Our home is your home for your holiday. Positioned in 5 acres of woodland, enjoy a quiet, relaxing time any season from the deck or the hot tub.
The Red Barn is just 14 miles from the Stowe Mountain area, where the activities are vast from skiing, snowboarding, sleigh rides, winter walking and ice skating in the winter, to a world class water wonderland at Smugglers Notch in the summer. Lake Elmore and The National State Park is just a 1 mile walk away from the Red Barn for swimming, kayaking and hiking up Elmore mountain, overlooking the lake. There is an abundance of rentals such as bicycles and kayaks in the area for you to use, and ample space at the barn for storage of these articles.
Our home boasts four spacious bedrooms on 3 floors with a bathroom on each floor, the house sleeps 12 people comfortably. The loft houses one queen bed and two twin beds with a bathroom. The ground floor a queen bedroom, bathroom, fully fitted kitchen with an eating area & two bar stools, a large table and 8 chairs, whilst the lounge area provides welcoming comfort on two large leather sofas, a love nest and the log burning stove, TV and DVD. The basement is an ideal den for the young adults in your party, with a queen bedroom, twin bedroom and a lounge area with queen size sofa/sleeper, large chair, board games, ping pong table, TV/DVD/computer play station and games. The laundry facilities are also in the basement.
For the shoppers in your party, Burlington is a vibrant city with a large range of shops. Stowe Village provides a quaint shopping experience and the capital city of Vermont, Montpelier is only 30 minutes away. Come and enjoy the unique art and craft experience of Vermont including a Woody Jackson painting of the Red Barn.
