My wife and me stayed at the Madone for 7 nights ,we were very satisfied, what a nice place, well situated close to centre ville, well furnished with lovely antiques, having hot croissants and bread delivered at your door by the owners every mourning is a nice touch. Nathalie is very helpful, recommended restaurants and places to visit. We are looking forwards to stay again in the future in the same place,a nice place to explore the Luberon.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We LOVED La Madone .. stayed in the Baroque apartment and simply adored the decor and all the fine attention to detail. Nathalie and Jean-Bernard were wonderful hosts -- always available and ready to help / answer questions. Nathalie is quite gifted -- with a penchant for interior design, I absolutely loved experiencing her aesthetic -- she had mixed all her paint colors and made all the window treatments, etc. Mid-week, N & J-B hosted a delightful apertifs party in the garden by the pool -- we met other wonderful guests from the U.S., Canada, Germany, France ... all delightful. Our special fav was the delivery of warm pains au chocolat, croissants and a baguette each morning in a linen bag on our door. The attention to detail was impeccable. Delightful time going to Lourmarins and visiting their brocantes shop, "L'Antiquaire"... would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you Nathalie & Jean Bernard, for such a delightful stay and wonderful base from which to explore the Luberon!Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The apartment "Lin" was as beautiful, if not more so, than the pictures shown on VRBO and "La Madone" website. Being on the top floor gave us a great view of the center of Apt and the storefronts and in the distance, the perched village of Saignon. While walking to the town center, we saw the Madonna right above the Apartment Lin! We woke up everyday to the smell of crunchy baguette and buttery croissants and pains au chocolat which Nathalie or perhaps Jean Bernard left hanging on our door. We lacked for nothing in the apartment - comfortable bed, two sofas, large dining table, well-equipped kitchen (with a starter supply of butter, jam, water, juice), reliable WiFi, TV, etc. Markets (outdoors and indoors) were close by so shopping for provisions was easy. A laundromat was within walking distance. Because we came in November, we did not get to see the pool or the front of the "mansion" but we are sure that they, too, are just as beautiful as in the pictures. Nathalie recommended 3 restaurants to us but due to holiday closings of two of them, we only got to try La Manade - excellent food for very reasonable prices. Apt is an ideal location from which one can travel to the many different perched villages and towns of the Luberon. Thank you, Nathalie and Jean Bernard for your hospitality during our stay (and our last night with the special mushrooms and oysters). We hope to be back to see you and to stay at another one of the La Madone apartments.Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our family, consisting of my husband and I (in our 30s) and my parents (60+), stayed in the Baroque apartment April 12-20, 2010. It was an excellent base for visiting many of the sights in Provence. Nathalie and her husband were wonderful hosts. I would classify our party as pretty demanding. We had a health scare with my mother, and asked our hosts a lot of questions. However Nathalie was always very accommodating with helping us. (A huge plus in my book as these are self-contained apartments and not true b&b type accommodations). The apartment worked very well for our group as the bedroom areas are at opposite sides of the apartment giving some level of privacy for each party. The apartment itself was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. If you appreciate French Vintage decorating, then this apartment is exactly what you are looking for. Nathalie and her husband own an antique store so if, like me, you enjoy the brocants and hunting for your own antiques to bring home from France, this accommodation is great because the hosts are happy to share information on which markets to visit and where/when the best sales are. I should also note that each morning Nathalie delivered a fresh baguette, croissants and pain au chocolate to the apartment which began our day in perfect fashion. The village of Apt was very nice to walk through and contained some great little shops. (The candy shop became my husband’s favorite!) This apartment was absolutely beautiful and it would be our pleasure to one day visit it again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
