This property was SPOTLESS and very, very upscale. The owners thought of everything even down to laundry detergent, tea, coffee, condiments, hair dryers and very well stocked with upgrade cooking utensils. The rooms are all quite spacious. It was so nice not to have to drive to a beach and hassle with parking, but rather a 3-5 minute stroll through beautiful landscaped grounds to get there. Would recommend going to the beach around 8 a.m. if you want first row seating for unobstructed ocean view. The beach attendants have the chairs,towels and umbrellas all set up for you - first come, first served! Our family will definitely stay there again and I would highly recommend this property.

My husband and I had a romantic vacation in PH102 -- along with my 8-month-old ... and my parents! The key is the spaciousness -- we were not tripping over each other, nor getting annoyed with each other's stuff. There is lots of room and storage spots everywhere. It was extremely convenient to have my parents (babysitters!) in the same penthouse so we could all take turns with the baby and not have to move stuff between different units. The location of Wailea Beach Villas makes it worth the cost. They are on the beach and next to casual eateries in the Shops at Wailea and fine dining at the hotels. Loved that we didn't have to pile in the car to eat, shop or beach. Also, this suite was spotless. I didn't expect that level of cleanliness from a rental, but was pleasantly surprised. There wasn't any dust, lint or dirt anywhere -- the bathroom drawers seemed unused. The kitchen utensils, glasses, etc. seemed almost new. We were there in January/February, which I thought was around high season, but WBV was not crowded. I guess some owners don't always rent out their units? The pools never had more than a few other people; and we always got a "front row" beach umbrella without a wait, no matter the time of day. Now that we're parents and have said goodbye to quiet couple vacations, we are thrilled and relieved that this type of accommodation exists for family trips.

This penthouse was absolutely amazing! Gorgeous accomodations and staff was fabulous. The resort was so relaxed and private, at times we felt like we were the only people on the property! We had such a wonderful time that we called the airline to see if we could change our flight to add a few more nights! Unfortunately, we could not, so we spent the plane ride home planning our spring time trip back to this Unit! It was just the two of us in the Unit, but it would be comfortable with 4-6 people. The resort is family friendly but trust me, by no means is it not the perfect place for a romantic getaway. The all adult pool was so beautiful that we had to drag ourselves away to get ready for dinner at night. The beach was beautiful and the staff was running to set up an umbrella and chairs wherever and whenever you would like. The unit is within walking distance to the Four Seasons and Grand Wailea if you prefer to go out for dinner or drinks.The pictures do not do this Unit justice......we will never stay anywhere else! The beautiful location, amenities and comfort of the penthouse has surpassed many of the 5 star hotels and rentals that we have stayed in. We truly enjoyed the delightful strolls from the penthouse to the beach every morning, made some wonderful meals in the well-equipped kitchen, enjoyed the large soaking bathtubs, and fully relaxed and rested in the luxurious beds. My children loved the kid's pools and Wailea beach while my husband and I equally enjoyed the fabulous fitness center and nearby Shops at Wailea. We couldn't have asked for a more convenient and beautiful accommodation. The staff were very helpful, professional and courteous. I can truly say that this past week in Maui and staying at this rental has been the best vacation we have ever had! It has certainly been especially memorable for my children who have experienced Maui for the very first time. It has only been 2 days since returning home and my son has been pestering me every couple of hours asking, "When are we returning to Maui? Can we go back to that rental?" We look forward to many returns and are very hopeful to return again next Spring or Summer with the opportunity to stay in this amazing home again.

I was happily surprised when I arrived at this unit of Wailea Beach Villas. We are a family with three young boys- and when we are on vacation, we like to have some space. This two bedroom unit was perfect for our family. It is situated close to the kids pool- but take my word, there were about 4-6 kids in the pool at any given time and a short walk to the beach. What I was most impressed with is the staff here- I felt like we were in a full-service hotel- but there are no crowds and noise- just peaceful beauty. I never had to fight for a lounge chair or umbrella. There was always plenty of space to spread out. If you like room service, you can still order food to the room from the village restaurants that are just a behind the property. Or you can eat out at any of those restaurants. I actually enjoyed having the kitchen as my boys don't appreciate a $15 dollar burger like I do! We were able to eat breakfast and lunch at home, then head out to nice dinner. So many great restaurants here! I highly recommend Wailea Beach Villas and this unit in particular is lovely. I hope to return every year!

After extensive travel in the Caribbean, we found Maui to be everything we imagined and more. The following is an excerpt from a note sent to the owner while we were in Hawaii: This condo is everything promised and more! The decor is lovely and we are enjoying your art work. The condo reminds us so much of our own home except when we open the windows it is so much more beautiful. So we feel right at home and you have everything we need at our fingertips. The website description was accurate, but the unit is even more perfect in person. The kitchen is well stocked for most anything you want to cook, including an expresso machine. The owner supplies flavored tea bags, a few units of coffee, basic spices, paper towels, laundry detergent, dishwashing soap and dishwasher soap, toilet supplies and bathroom soap. We spend the day at the beach (and LOVE the boogie boards you have, even I am enjoying them). The beach bags are perfect as well. There is also some basic snorkeling equipment for 2, but we brought our own. We love the short walk to the shopping and dining at Wailea Center. Tracy the concierge is wonderful and has cheerfully taken care of our dinner reservations and made some great suggestions. My husband is from Hawaii (Big Island) but Maui is our favorite. We only make it back every 3-5 years, so it has been a while for us. We always stay in Wailea and have previously been twice at the Four Seasons and once at the Grand Wailea. Neither compare to having the condo residence. We really love that there are no crowds at the pools or the complex. The staff service is excellent on the beach for chair and umbrella set up and so much less obtrusive than the fanfare at the resorts. Very residential feel but totally 5 star complex and unit. Really a great deal when you factor in the cost compared to a similar luxury hotel unit with no kitchen and only 1 room with 2 beds vs. this unit with EVERYTHING like home. Next time we return we will definitely try to stay here. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us.

What an absolutely wonderful place! Everything about this penthouse unit was perfect-the layout, the tasteful furnishings, the beautiful kitchen and lanai, the beautifully-landscaped grounds and above all, the LOCATION! Within steps of great dining, shopping and beaches/pools, you don't need a car, except to go sightseeing around the island. It combines the best of both worlds: an upscale condo unit for the family to spread out and relax in with all the conveniences and services of an expensive hotel-attentive and courteous staff to help you with every need. We didn't want to leave and are already talking about coming back. Why go anywhere else for a sun vacation?

We've had a spectacular time here, so much so, that we extended our vacation here at Wailea an extra week! The weather was fantastic. Mother Nature was so kind! The snorkeling, right here, was amazing and we swam with turtles and saw clouds of colourful fish. We had some superb dinners and several top-notch whale watching excursions. A truly magical vacation and accommodations here in Villa 102 was an added bonus for three "snow-weary" Canucks from Toronto. Mahalo.

We had a wonderful holiday in Wailea and are sad to have to return to cold Toronto. Your condo is beautifully furnished and equipped. We especially appreciate the espresso machine!
