Great views from a beautiful cabin. This cabin was just wonderful, there were 8 of us and we were able to spread out. The kitchen was a dream to cook in, and that deck with the covered fireplace was great! The one night we had a slight rain it didn't matter we still sat outside by the fire! I can not praise this cabin more, if possible we will be back next year.

Thank you for all of your support and advice regarding our trip to the Top of the Ridge Cabin this past weekend. I know I speak for the entire group when I say that you truly own one of the most beautiful properties I have had the pleasure to stay at and that the level of support we received from you really helped make our weekend a success. Our group lucked out with some great weather and we hope that the next time we decide to come back that we will be just as fortunate!

We just got back from another amazing snowboarding weekend. Such a fun fun time. Love the new hot tub that they put in last year. I think we spent more time in the hot tub than we did snowboarding. House is amazing. Always feels like home when we return every year. I would HIGHLY recommend this house for people looking for a rental. Thank you again to the owners!

My group and I were very pleased with the cabin. The evening of unwinding after a long day was as close to perfect as it could get. Even with the high winds and freezing temperatures, the hot tub was very entertaining.

It was a beautiful, quiet place to stay. My children really enjoyed being able to play paintball in the maze and ride their atv's. Would definitely keep coming back.

Very lovely and pleasant. Our main purpose was to bond and relax. We stocked the cupboards and refrigerator with all kinds of food. We did go to the local market to get the ingredients for Smores ! !

From the Guest Book: This was our first vacation in the mountains. We had mixed sunshine, fog and some rain. It's all good and some things take a little time to get to them, but the ride is very scenic so it doesn't really matter. We went to the Green Bank Observatory(Get an soft ice cream here and a ham wrap, they're the best), the Cass Train ride, Seneca Caverns, Chair lift ride to the lake, horesback riding, paintballing in the backyard maze.

From the Guest Book: We had a mix of beautiful sun, torrential rain and clouds. We went to the water chutes at Whittaker Falls, bungee jumping for the kids at Snowshoe, sat on the beach at Snowshoe lake. We set up an obstacle course in the yard and also collected frogs for our one and only "Frog Olympics" We visited the Green Bank observatory and took the teenagers over to show clay pigeons. All in all, Whittaker Falls on the Elk River was the best !!

From the Guest Book: We came for the week in 2 cars and 1 plane. The weather was mild in the upper 70's mostly and one day of non-stop rain. We read, played games, watched movies, sat out by the fire, hiked, canoed, napped outside. We went to Pioneer Days in Marlinton and rode the Cass Train. We had a big outdoor scavenger hunt. We loved the Elk River Restaurant, lighting fireworks, canoeing at Snowshoe and making S'mores !!

From the guest book: This was a family reunion and relaxation for Mom's birthday. We had a day and 1/2 of rain, 70 degrees and sunny the rest of the time. We ate, played ping pong, pool, hot tub.(the kids loved it) We golfed (6 man scramble at the country club) Pretty wide open with many lost balls. Home run derby and birthday party. We took a day trip to the waterfalls. 8 cows showed up in the driveway one day. We enjoted the Falls of Hills creek, Cranberry Nature Center, Cass Railroad and the Raven's Golf Country Club. What a great family picture we have now !!!

We came to ski and have fun. We had big trucks, 2 SUV's and one car. There was 33" of snow when we arrived and at least 8 more inches fell while we were here. We watched DVD's, tried to make a snow angel, but the snow was too deep, relaxed in the hot tub, played lots of pool and ping pong. Slept a little and played a lot. We went 4 wheeling by accident, do do that, it's hard to get out. We took a wrong turn out of the driveway, make sure you turn right out of the driveway.

From the Guest book: Ski-Annual trip. Played Cranium, cards, ping pong, pool and partied. We all drove in 4 wheel drives. It snowed 2 of the 4 days we were here and it was very windy at night. We made a fire outside for the smokers and warmed ourselves in the hot tub. The dark beer made by Budweiser but is like Guiness at Misty's at Silver Creek. Mud pies at the store at 219/66. Our favorite meal was 2 fry baskets at the Top of the World Condo while still in ski gear. A special highlight was the crazy guy who jumped from the lift at closing to get one last run in.

We drove in 1 jeep and the rest SUVs. It was cold, sunny, snowy, blizzard like and awefully cold. We skiied, snowboarded, drank, ate. We sang Karaoke and I use the term sing loosely !!. BBQ'd in the snow, made a fire in the outside fireplace whenn it was 15 degrees out. The men needed to show they were manly. We saw a very large black and white poka dotted Great Dane name Jake.

This was a family get together and ski trip. We arrived in 4 cars and the weather was cold in the 20's. We ate, skiied, snowboarded, shopped and played games. We ate snow ice cream, played ping pong, karaoke, pool and hung out in the hot tub !! We saw some friends from SC. I would recommned the Cheap City Pizza and Boathouse restaurants. We especially enjoyed singing Karaoke, making snow ice cream and just having fun ! There were so many ladybugs we felt really lucky.

From the guest book: We arrived in big trucks and it was too warm during our stay. We ate too much, drank too much and no sleep while we skiied for 2 days straight. Special advice: Do not take a left out of the driveway. We will be back next year and we can't wait !!

From the guest book: We spent the Thanksgiving Holiday together for our yearly trip. Cold, rainy some snow, however little sun. Se spent alot of time playing cards, sitting by the fire, sledding and checking out Snowshoe Village, shopping and eating too much food !!. Watching movies. A big black bull wandered through the property and lots of deer passed by. Visit the "Junction in Snowshoe Village for great appetizers and Happy Hour. Check out the beautiful scenes and wildlife. We had a very relazing time with lots of R&R
