Welcome to the Great Escape! Get away from it all, and yet, be in the midst of it all, in a location that offers everything needed for that perfect Florida vacation (without sacrificing all the comforts of home). The Great Escape is a very spacious, immaculate private home, with three bedrooms, two full baths, and with central air. It is decorated in a relaxing, classy-tropical décor. The home will accommodate up to five guests. No smoking or pets are allowed.
This very pretty fully furnished waterfront home is located on a quiet canal in a nice residential neighborhood in New Port Richey. There are three bedrooms (one with a queen bed and the other with a twin bed.) The large master bedroom (king bed) with large bathroom. The master bedroom has its own private access to the lanai. The great room includes a well-equipped kitchen, dining room with a large table, and living room with plenty of seating for watching your favorite programs and sports on the 36-inch satellite TV. Linens and towels are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped.
It is a great place to relax and get that beautiful Florida tan. The canal is very clean and is perfect for Fishing. There is ample space to tie up your boat and it will be close and ready for you to hop aboard at a moment’s notice. Go fish, play, take a sunset cruise.
In the backyard, you can relax by our private, pool which overlooks the canal or fish off our dock (in the winter months, you can sometime see Manatees swim by.) This home is true Florida at it's best. The Gulf is approximately a 2 minute boat ride away. There are a lot of different restaurants and shops.
A favorite activity of ours is to rent a pontoon and take it to the Sand Bar or Anclote Key for a day where we go shelling, fishing and dolphin watching. For those of you with a boat, you're welcome to bring it, if it fits our dock.

$500 refundable security deposit due upon booking
Deposit is nonrefundable if reservations are canceled within 30 days.
Full amount due 2 months prior to check-in.
$100 Cleaning fee is additional and will be withheld from deposit.
Deposit will be return upon final inspection within 45 days of departure

What a wonderful place! We brought the boat and fished everyday. Went to an island that we called "Paradise". It was beautiful. Clear water as far as you can see. The home was great. Very well stocked/maintained with just about everything you needed. Fished off the dock early every morning and fed "Bill". If I had one complaint, it would be the master bedroom. There was no TV, but yet there was one in the guest bedroom. We survived, but it was pretty tough. We had no children with us, but this would be an ideal place for a family. The pool was nice, around 82. There are bikes, fishing poles and a few pool toys in the garage. There is a bait store just a little way up the road. We didn't shop, but there were a few places several miles away. Overall, our stay there was a perfect get-a-away.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

This house was fantastic to stay in. The house is very spacious and nicely decorated and very comfortable. Also, very clean. Had all the amenities of home. The outside was beautiful and perfect for our family. The pool was very nice. Even though it was not heated it was 82 degrees in April. The dock which is right there next to the pool was wonderful for our son who is addicted to fishing. He spent most of his free time there fishing. There were many catfish and even some snook. While we were on the dock we saw rays and on one evening a dolphin. If you have children they will be delighted by the crabs that hang out by the dock and some very small lizards. Included in the rental is use of the yacht clubhouse. There are tennis courts there which we never had a problem getting and a larger community pool. We never did use the pool because we were very happy with having our own. I couldn't say anything nicer about the house. We will definately be back. Also, owners were very easy to deal with.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children.

Had a wonderful stay. Pictures do not do it justice. Property was well maintain and clean. Owners had it well stocked from the kitchen to floaties for the pool; we did have to buy some fishing rods but that was okay. Plenty of restaurants; fast foods and grocery stores nearby. Went to several attractions during our stay and the longest drive was to Busch Gardens about 40 minutes away; very reasonable. Would recommend this property to family and friends and I would come back in the future. Owners were very helpful with all my questions and concerns; we were even called to make sure everything was in order. Again, thank you William and Kathy for letting us stay in your beautiful home.
