Oceanaire is a first class vacation home directly on the Atlantic Ocean beach near Governor's Harbor, Eleuthera. This 2006 custom built home features two master suites with fantastic views from every room. The location is only four miles from Governor's Harbor Airport and the closest neighbors are more than a one-quarter mile away.
Covered verandahs with comfortable teak furniture and an open sundeck overlooking the pink sand beach provide shade and sun worshippers equal opportunity to relax and enjoy the serenity of Oceanaire.
The kitchen is outfitted to please a gourmet chef, including dozens of spices and a propane barbecue on the screened verandah and dining area. The living areas inside and out are comfortably furnished with Sunbrella fabric cushions, including a teak double chaise lounge on the verandah that is a favorite and very romantic spot for guests.
The pink sand beach is secluded and runs for miles in both directions. Coral heads a few hundred feet offshore provide lobster and fish for dinner for the intrepid snorkeler.

- Oceanaire has a tandem kayak -- Ocean Zest 2 EXP, two surf boards and four scuba tanks (AL80s and AL65s) for guest use
- Suitability
- No Pets Allowed : No pets and no service animals are allowed at Oceanaire. Oceanaire is not designed to accommodate handicapped guests who cannot negotiate stairs.
- Not Suitable for Children : Oceanaire is designed as an adult retreat. The verandahs do not have railings that would spoil the view and so toddlers could face a two- to three-foot drop to the ground.
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters : No youth groups, school groups or college groups of any type, whether chaperoned or not, are allowed at Oceanaire.
- Smoking Not Allowed : Absolutely no smoking inside or on the verandahs is allowed at Oceanaire. Any evidence of smoking will result in complete forfeiture of deposit.

We travel extensively and have stayed in may private homes listed through VRBO. Although we have enjoyed them all, Oceanaire is by far - by leaps and bounds - the cream of the crop. The home and ground are immaculate. The decor is elegant and the furnishings and appointments top of the line. The views are spectacular and you truly do "own" your very own private beach while you are there. We can't recommend Oceanaire high enough. If we could give 10 stars - we would! We truly didn't want to leave this very special place. Thank you Patrick and Linda! for sharing your WONDERFUL home with us.

We stayed at Oceanaire with another couple the middle of Jan of 2011. We flew in as a private pilot and all I can say is, Location, Location, Location. Close to Governors Harbour airport so it was minutes from Oceanaire. Beach was awesome, at low tide, download a tide chart. View was incredible, privacy was excellent. We will definantly stay here again. Thanks Patrick for opening up your home. Kip and Jackie in Missouri.

I spent a lot of time researching rental homes, and Oceanaire exceeded my expectations. In fact, we didn't go sightseeing anywhere else. The beaches, the water, the snorkeling, the accommodations, everything was right there and exemplary. The beach just south of the house is a beautiful, wide (at low tide), crescent soft and pink sands beach with hardly a person on it. The water in front is crystal clear and offered great swimming. The snorkeling has us seeing lobster and even playing with wild dolphins one day. The outdoor living space on the deck of the house is all new and looks like a Pottery Barn magazine. The house itself, especially the kitchen, is new and clean. And the view...awe the view...is just to die for. The people on the island are extremely nice. We rented a car without signing a form. When one of our friends got off at the wrong airport (it can happen when they stop over in North Eleuthera) the gate agent drove her down close to Governor's Harbour. And make sure you get fresh fish just off the boat ramp. It's some of the best I've ever had. Patrick, the owner, not only provided a great living space, but a great overview of what to do and expect. It was a fabulous vacation and a fabulous house to rent. You can stop looking now!
