We spent the weekend here and had a great time. My teemage son loved the fouseball/pool table. The cabin is well located. It is close to the marina where we rented a boat. We were close to the village. We really enjoyed the Alpine slide which was down the street. The cabin was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. We would recommend this cabin.

Our first time in Big bear was wonderful! It ws raining on the 20th when we arrived, but we woke up to a winter wonderland. The kids played in the front yard for a couple of hours and then we took them sledding (tubing) at the Alpine Magic Mountain slide. It was $25 a kid for unlimited rides in a tube. The kids (age 7 and 9) had so much fun, but my husband and I could only stand the 32 degree weather for an hour. We came back to the house and played scrabble and watched Jack Frost. We will be back again. The cabin was a home away from home and we had such a lovely time.

This was a wonderful get-away for the family. What a beautiful place to stay and enjoy the peace and beauty of the mountains. Our whole family was very comfortable in your cabin. The kids loved the pool table, in fact one just like it is on the top of their christmas list for our family gift. They enjoyed the movies, toys and games. We enjoyed the comfortable beds, having all the comforts of home and the quiet location. Thie tire swing up the hil and the swim beach were both hits. Thank you for thinking of everything. The extras made our stay very comfortable. Plan to come again - Soon!

We had a great Thanksgiving here in the snow. We made several sled runs throughout the yard, and a couple of snowmen out front. Also, we saw the Christmas play at the Performing Arts Center. Santa showed up for breakfast at the Log Cabin. We all had a great time here in Big bear and especially enjoyed the snow. We built snow people-Snowman,Snow Woman, Snow Dog and Snow Cat!!!

Dec 10-17, 2010: Your Home is so comfortable and inviting. We enjoyed the Village shops and Boo Bear Restaurant where they had karaoke on a Sunday night. the kids and Dad enjoyed skiing and whe did manage to find some hills of snow to sled down behind the cabin a nice hike away. The game table was a "hit" with everyone as well as the board games. We also saw a show at the Village Theatre; everyone enjoyed "Tangled" at matinee prices with cookies and popcorn. It snowed on Thursday, Dec 16th! It was beautiful and the older kids were able to ski on fresh powder snow at Bear Mountain. We had a most enjoyable time her at the Rubicon. Truly a Home Away From Home. Merry christmas and a Happy New Year!

This was a great place for our family to stay. We had a lovely week up in Big Bear at this cabin. We were close to the lake and the hiking trails. The cabin was comfortable and clean and exactly as advertised. Our kids loved playing with the games. We also really enjoyed having a picnic table just outside for eating lunches in the shade. The owner was great with communication. We'd love to come again!
Owner response:I love to share my cabin with families like yours! Thanks, and come again!
