Beautiful! This luxury three bedroom, three and a half bath condo is exquisitely and professionally decorated. Located on the fifth floor, it has over 800 square feet of wrap-around balcony with two terraces overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and the Santa Rosa Sound. You can see the sunrise from the south terrace and the sunset from the north terrace.
It has a state-of-the-art kitchen equipped with GE appliances, stainless small wares, and bar all with granite counter tops. The domed ceiling in the foyer will lead you to the grand salon with fine furniture, an entertainment center with 42 inch plasma TV, and fantastic views of the Gulf of Mexico and the Santa Rosa Sound.
The master suite has a king size bed with a private terrace overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The second bedroom has two queen size beds with a private terrace overlooking the Santa Rosa Sound. Bedroom Three is off the grand salon and opens to the main balcony. Each bedroom has its own private bath and entertainment center.

This is THE UNIT to stay in. WOW! What an amazing condo! We were able to visit the condos that our friends were staying in at Portofino that week and none of the other units compared to this one. The décor was high end. The living room/dining room/kitchen combo was open and very spacious. Lots and lots of room! All of us agreed that the beds were super comfortable. Lots of closet space. The veranda was very large and roomy and seats up to 18. The units on the 5th floor of each tower have SO MUCH MORE outdoor space than any other floor. The view was spectacular and the perfect for watching the sunrise. We did not have any issues with our condo. The unit was clean upon our arrival. The management company was professional, courteous, and top notch! The Portofino staff were all helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond with their customer service. The resort is very secure. You can not get passed the guard gate without a room key. The beach was extremely clean and the water extremely clear. The staff who assists with chair rentals at the beach were always friendly and provided wonderful service. I have only two negatives I can report and they ARE NOT related to the unit, just the resort. We ate at the resort restaurant out by the pool one time and the food was great but the service was lacking. Also, the resort bar closes at 10pm daily which was too early for our group. We are already considering another trip and would LOVE to stay in this unit again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

our stay at the condo was great, with the exception of the deck area strewed with toilet paper and water hoses when we arrived, which was taken care of immediately. we did want to recommend to potential renters, though, to clarify with owner when placing a "deposit". in the rules and procedures that are sent after placing a "deposit", it clearly states 1. Deposits: You paid a security deposit at the time of booking of your reservations. This deposit will serve as a damage deposit during your visit and will be refunded after your departure by mail within 10 days, provided no damage was done to the unit during your stay. - two weeks after our return from vacation we emailed owners with regards to the refund of the deposit, at which time we were told that they didn't collect a deposit from us, the "desposit" we paid was considered part of the rental fee, therefore, non-refundable. we just want to recommend clarifying for your own purposes before sending a "deposit", as we took special care with unit and ALL of the requirements in order to receive our deposit back, but didn't.Did you find this review helpful? just returned from a great trip.The condo was great very clean and great views of the sound and the gulf. the resort was great and has everything you need, the owners were great and the process was easy.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children.

great place my family and i loved the condo and resort. the pictures do not do the condo justice, the wrap around deck the views of the sound or gulf outstanding. the condo was very clean and well mantained the owners couldn t be nicer.the resort is a great family vacation.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.
