We've had an unexpected cancellation for this summer; check out our availability calendar as of June 25. Stunning Victorian home with unusual custom details. The property has been completely renovated and is a showpiece of stained glass doors and windows, vintage light fixtures, original pine floors and wonderful antiques.
The property is direct waterfront on a 52 acre pond which is perfect for canoes and kayaks. We're only 10 minutes away from three great beaches - 4-mile long Nantasket Beach in Hull, Cohasset's own Sandy Beach and North Scituate Beach. Cohasset itself is an idyllic New England coastal community with a picture-postcard Commons and scenic drives along the "Gold Coast". Plus there's a shopping area with a supermarket within easy walking distance of the house.
The house itself, which was named a "New England Dream House" by the NECN television show of the same name, has all the amenities you could wish for in a vacation rental. The eat-in kitchen and dining room, both overlooking the pond, are perfect for dinner parties. The kitchen has a double refrigerator, two work islands, double dishwashers, granite counters, commercial gas range with pot filler, plus a wall of windows overlooking the water.
There's a peaceful library with lots of books and a gas fireplace and a true Victorian parlor with sunroom and fireplace. The master bedroom suite has a cathedral ceiling, huge walk-in closet, TV and marble bath (oversize shower with multiple heads and a relaxing Jazuzzi). There's also a state-of-the-art media room with a 102" movie screen and projection HD TV. For lots more details, there's a link to our web site further down on this listing.
