My husband and I stayed at Norma & Joe's with our two small children for President's Day weekend. The photos do not do it justice. It is such a warm and comfortable home to stay in with incredibly comfortable beds (when does that ever happen?), a jacuzzi tub, a well equipped kitchen that Norma & Joe stock with all the staples (milk, eggs, fruit, etc.) and a little sledding hill outside that was just perfect for our boys. We had a lovely time and Norma and Joe could not have been nicer. We can't wait to return!

This warm and cozy cottage is ideally located for "leaf peeping." It is immaculately clean and beautifully furnished; we felt quite at home in just a few minutes. Obviously this is a labor of love for Norma and Joe, the owners. And we were pleasantly surprised to find that Norma had provided us with all the basics, milk, oj, cheese, fresh eggs from the resident chickens, and any condiment we could possibly want. We have never had such well equipped lodgings. Norma and Joe are warm and welcoming hosts and definitely go above and beyond to ensure their guests have an enjoyable stay. Just wish we could have stayed for more than a few days. We definitely hope to return and will recommend this delightful cottage to our friends and family.

The pictures and descriptions do not do this lovely, warm and charming cottage justice. A very good layout and the kitchen is wonderfully equipped. We had a wonderful time and the location is excellent. Just under mile to Manchester Center. The owners are wonderful people who will do anything to make your stay as pleasurable as possible.

My business partner and I were incredibly fortunate to have found this getaway for us to do our work. As Antiques dealers, we need clean space, local contacts, flexibility, and fun and friendliness are bonuses! We found everything we needed here with Norma and Joe Will. It was quiet, very clean, well stocked, and the outdoors here is so beautiful. Our week could not have been better spent here in Manchester, VT.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this delightful cottage. Joe and Norma are wonderful hosts. The stocked fridge was a delightful surprise. Fresh eggs from the chickens, milk, juice, coffee. The garden is worth a summer time visit. The cottage was clean and inviting. We had a slight problem with the hot water, but Joe was quick to remedy the situation. We enjoyed the book store, the many fine restaurants, and especially the Weston Playhouse Theater. Look forward to returning in the future. As easy walk into town, or over to the town skating rink and park.

Wanted to simply say the we had an amazing time during our stay thanks to the great location of this cute cottage and the warm demeanor of Norma and Joe. House was stocked with all the essentials, from fruit and milk to linens and towels. We were even lucky enough to be able to snowboard all day and enjoy the back deck and BBQ when we got home. The weather was perfect and so was the house. Two thumbs up! Thanks again Joe for trying find the right screw driver for my snowboard. I'm sure we'll be seeing you again!

I can't say enough good things about our stay in Manchester. The house was perfect for our family. It was beautifully decorated, clean and well stocked. Thanks to Norma & Joe for the fresh eggs and fruit that they left for us -as well as all the other extras, like milk, OJ and Vermont maple syrup. It really helped make us feel at home. There were sleds available for us to use on the property and we had a blast sledding down the hill with our daughter. The wild turkeys that came to eat each day were also a big hit with her - even though we only saw them from a distance. You also couldn't ask for a better location - minutes from Bromley Mountain, an ice skating rink, lots of restaurants and the outlets in Manchester. Norma was very helpful with recommendations of places to eat, as well as where to go for a sleigh ride (both of which were great!) I highly recommend staying here, in fact I plan on coming back next winter! Thanks again for a great vacation.

Well back from the roadside, tucked under tall fir and cedar, the little red house was our perfect getaway. Norma provided fresh fruit, coffee, a well stocked pantry everything we needed to make us feel welcome. This was a quiet place to write my book: lots of cool clean air, great shopping and dining when we needed a break. The cozy cottage came complete with a lush vegetable garden. Just bring your colander, and Joe even sees to it you also have the freshest of eggs! It is a place to come back to in every season.

We spent a fall foliage weekend at this cottage recently.The owner could not have been more helpful and gracious ! The house is immaculate, adorable and spacious.It has all the amenities you need.The view and property is gorgeous as well.You have close proximity to shopping,restaurants and ski areas . We hope to return to this rental in the future.
