The Unique Benefits at this House
Since buying our Nemo home we have broadened our outdoor adventures. We love spending the day riding our ATV’s over the many trails. On an ordinary ride we can picnic by an old, abandoned mine or find the trace outline of an abandoned homestead. My husband has also added the sport of turkey hunting and can hunt in the forested areas right around Nemo. He has also been able to deer hunt in the Nemo area.
During spring and summer the area is full of beautiful wild flowers. Short walks down the country road that runs by our house and you come upon countless wild flowers. I have started a wild flower picture collection of the many different flowers seen in this area and on our trail hiking.
There is so much natural beauty in this area; one simply enjoys the quietness and clean air.
Owner's Map of Nemo
We fell in love with Nemo the first time we rode through the area. My husband and I love to ride the hills during the Sturgis Rally and on one of those rides we came upon Nemo. After that we made it a point each year of stopping at the Nemo Guest Ranch for dinner, or an early morning ride to enjoy the Nemo Volunteer Fire Department breakfast. Finally, after just being a visitor to the area, we decided to buy a place of our own and spend more time enjoying this beautiful area.

This rental is very clean and the owners were very helpful and accommodating. This home is definitely in the middle of all the attractions. The only thing we ran into is that it's advertised as 4 bedroom and it's not a full 4 bedroom rental. There are two bedrooms upstairs and two "beds" downstairs that are partitioned off in an unfinished basement. It might work ok for kids being down there but if you have 4 couples this may not be the rental you are looking for.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers.
Highly recommended!! You will not be disappointed!!

We rented this house for a guys motorcycle trip to the Black Hills area. This was our first time renting thru VRBO and I must say that the rental process went seamless and the owners did an excellent job communicating with us. This house totally met our expectations! It was very clean and since being located in Nemo, all the Black Hills attractions were within a 20-40 mile radius. Our group consisted of 6 guys and everyone had their own bed. We also had 6 full dresser motorcycles and we were able to get all 6 bikes in the attached 2 car garage although it was tight. The house is located just a little off Nemo Road on about 1 block worth of gravel road. We saw local residents out walking down the quiet gravel road on several occasions and all were very friendly and would visit with you as if you were old friends. If your trip would consist of a "couples" trip, you could easily sleep 3 couples and possibly even 4. (The beds in the basement were great but they weren't totally separate bedrooms. they had a partition between them which worked fine for us!!) There was a full bath upstairs and downstairs both. Cell phone service at the house (and the entire Nemo area).... sprint/nextel..(little or no service) but Verizon texts and emails seemed to send and receive okay however phone calls would drop often. Because of the poor cell service in the area, we were welcome to use their land line if needed. Wireless internet (provided) at the house was great also. We would definitely rent this house again when we are in the area. We would definitely recommend this house for families, couples, or guys/girls trips. Thanks again!!!

We stayed here in June 2010 and were very happy. This is a super clean house in a great location. My wife and I stayed in one bedroom, my parents in the other bed room and the kids stayed down stairs, everyone had there own space. The Nemo Guest Ranch located just down the road has great food. Also Paradise Valley Trail Rides located a short walk away is a great way to get out and see the local area.
