  Our group of 4 grandparents, 2 parents and 3 grandchildren (12, 10, 3) enjoyed a wonderful week at Chez Manon for the following reasons. Since we all enjoy cooking, the open floor plan made it easy for the adults to share in the work and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils. The large indoor and outdoor tables were great for our group of 9. The 3 grandchildren enjoyed the pool multiple times a day. The privacy of the home meant that the granchildren's voices were not an issue, only to us. The great location in the Luberon Hills meant that there were interesting places to visit for all and we could split up. Some of us went on long hikes while others visited villages those days. Mont Ventoux was accessible and with full sun, simply outstanding. The nearby Roman ruins (perhaps Pont du Gard is not that close but the Julian Bridge is) were great. And, we never even used the bikes that were also available. The views were great for those who those who just wanted to relax. Chez Manon met the needs of all 9 of us from age 3 to 72, not an easy task for a group that takes an annual vacation and come from England and Minnesota, USA.

  We had a fantastic holiday at Chez Manon earlier this month. All of our party are keen cooks and we couldn't believe the range of equipment available to us in the kitchen, everything has been thought of from the food processor to the beautiful candles and china. We made some wonderful meals all eaten outside on the beautiful terrace. The house itself is amazing, extremely comfortable and beautifully restored. The swimming pool was in constant use and we particularly loved the four wrought iron "beds" around the pool - not to mention the hammock for two in the garden, a lovely place to relax out of the sun. Above all else the attention to detail was greatly appreciated, from the stacks of games and books to information about just about everything worth seeing in the Luberon. Thank you for a memorable holiday - we had such a great time and can't wait to go back.For once the photos on the website did not do justice to this wonderful property.

  An unforgettable holiday for 11 (age range 14-83). This villa is truly well provided for. It is clear that the thoughtful owners have gone out of there way to provide all those essentials that make for an exceptional stay - like a well equipped kitchen (aren't we all keen to try out our culinary skills on holiday), local travel guides, ample linen and towels, internet (essential for the children and their Facebook chatter) etc. Like others have mentioned - lunch in Saignon is a highlight, and better still if you walk to Saignon through a not difficult footpath (fearsome dogs along the way, but all chained up), and take in an excursion to the nearby abbey, before the climb uphill and lunch.

  The house has been a wonderful place for an exended family holiday with two grandparents, two couples, four children under five and visits from a great uncle and partner and friends from Paris. The house makes living easy, the kitchen is wonderful and we all loved the pool...

  Wonderful house with beautiful view and all the comforts of home. Enjoyed all the hilltop villages, markets, etc. We recommend Domaine des Andéols for dinner (St Saturnin d'Apt) (39 euros for a 3 course excellent dinner)

  We loved staying at Chez Manon; eating out on the terrace, swimming in the warm pool situated so conveniently close to the house, admiring the views over the Luberon valley and the long red sunsets – and being looked after by the superbe Arlette.

  What a wonderful week at Chez Manon with great friends. Chez Manon surpassed all expectations! Every piece in the house is gorgeous and the kitchen with all of its accessories is like no other! ... Thank you for designing a beautiful home furnished meticulously and opening it up for guests to enjoy. We loved every minute.

  Thank you so much - the use of Chez Manon was beyond compare. Although we were far from home, we felt at home here at Chez Manon Thirteen women in France. It will never be the same!

  We have enjoyed 2 very restful weeks of holiday. A fantastic house where every little detail seems to have been considered. Our children were very reluctant to leave its world and venture out! A great break for us all. Many thanks.

  I want to send this brief message to tell you that we had a near-perfect stay at Chez Manon. Everything lived up to or exceeded our expectations. The villa is beautiful, very well maintained and in a wonderful setting. Arlette was very helpful and cheerfully welcomed us. I was surprised to find that Apt is a wonderful town too. It was a nice walk from the villa with a lovely older section. Its size allowed for all of our needs. And needless to say, the Luberon is a beautiful area...
