Island Princess is a very popular complex with good location, great beach frontage, spacious units that families love. This is perfect for three couples to share, as each bedroom has its own bath. It is also perfect for a large family as the Sofa in the Great Room also makes out into a queen-size bed. Both the Master with the king-size bed and the great room have floor to ceiling windows over looking the Gulf of Mexico. Most of our tenants walk in and say WOW as the views are great. The full wall of mirrors in the great room, bring the outside right into the unit.
The decor is light, bright Florida Colors. The kitchen is fully equipped with Corian Counter tops, White Cabinets full of dishes, Pans and small appliances to make your time there fun. The side by side refrigerator has an icemaker. The bedrooms are carpeted, but the rest of the Condo is all Ceramic Tile. There is a desk all set up to plug in your lap top w/DSL for keeping up, your e mail. (WiFi anywhere). There is Covered Parking so you do not have to go out and get into a hot car to go shopping or out for dinner. There are quite a few nice places to eat close by. Call me if you want some recommendations.
We provide Umbrella Service and two chairs. Saves you a place on the beach each day, plus less for you to carry down. 3/1 thru 10/31. I try to keep extra sand chairs in the unit for your use but they keep disappearing. I do not know if they get left on the beach or that the cleaning people remove them. If they are there take care of them and brush the sand off before bringing them into the unit.
All the bedrooms have flat screen TV and DVD player. The Great Room has a 40 inch flat screen and Blu Ray disk Player. (bring a movie or 2 with with you) The Sony Music system has an I pod station.

- Parking for RV/Boat/Trailer : It is ok to park an RV or Boat trailer on the parking lot.(on the second level) We do have covered parking. for one car and there is parking for a second car in the available.

- Deck/Patio : From the balcony you can watch the children on the beach or the wild life. Most days we see jumping dolphins, pelicans etc. Sometimes we see Manata Rays ( they are one ones that do not sting you and are fun to watch)

- Beachfront : Great for watching the fisherman or the sunset. I love to watch my older Grandchildren play in the waves. The beach service is good about letting you know if it is safe to play in the waves. Bring their boards.
- Oceanfront : Gulf front, In the fall and early summer people catch Pompino & small sharks + other fish on the beach early and late in the day.
- Waterfront, not Lake/Oceanfront. Ask for details : We are on the 5th floor so have a great panoramic view of the gulf.

- Computer : There is a desk with DSL quality hook up in the great room. No computer provided bring your lap top. We have WiFi so everyone can use their own device
- Broadband Internet : There is a desk provided with a hook upcable available to hook up your computer.
- WiFi (Wireless Internet) : I will send the code to use at the time I send the code to the door
- Other Amenities
- Please ask. There is an exercise room, with newer equipment located in the complex. People under 18 not allowed to use equipment, without a parent in attendance. Call me for code if you want to use it.
- Suitability
- No Pets Allowed
- Handicapped Accessible (may have limitations) : It is on the fifth floor with 3 elevators. We do have grab bars in the bath area. We do have hurrican proof sliders but with a little effort a wheel chair can roll out onto the deck overlooking the gulf.
- Wheelchair Accessible (may have limitations) : On the fifth floor but very close to the Elevator, There are handi bars in the bath. Because of the hurricane proof doors you cannot roll right out on the Lani without help to get over the ledge, But you have a great view even inside the doors, if you cannot manage the threshold.
- Kid Friendly : This complex is a family complex. Most of the units have 3 bedrooms. Heated Pool. Hot tub is only available for children with their parents if not crowded. There are some sand toys in one bedroom closet
- Minimum Age Limit for Renters : For a three bedroom there must be 2 adults above the age of 26.
- Smoking Not Allowed : At the moment I have a cigarette burn in the carpet of one bedroom, IN MY NON SMOKING UNIT!! DO NOT SMOKE AS THERE IS A FINE!

Why the Owner Chose Island Princess
We love the white sand beach, the fishing and sea life that we see from our balcony. We plan to live in this unit when we retire. Okaloosa Island is away from the bustle of Destin but still close enough if we want to go there. And of course the sand is white & soft.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We are close to many golf courses. Boat rentals and deep sea fishing oportunities are close by.
Mainly I love to walk in the surf in the morning and visit with all the fishermen trying their luck. Watching them bring a few in and continuing on down the beach. There are plenty of eating establishments to walk to. We have covered parking so if you want to drive you do not have to get into a hot car to go to lunch or dinner. The kitchen is fully equiped. I have little time for cooking at home because of work so cook a lot here. We even have a coffee maker that has a hot water station if some of the family are tea drinkers and some want coffee. You will need to add and empty the water though it is not plumbed.

I love to read & chat with all the people from all over the world that come to the Island Princess every year. You will also like the staff that keep the condo in good repair and the grounds men who keep the pool and landscaping very pretty. My husband loves to fish, wading out into the water. One day a neighbor caught a small shark just right for the bar ba que grill.

I stayed there May 18 - 22,2011 with 5 other ladies and we had a great time! The Condo is very pretty, and stocked with everything you could possibly want. We WILL be back! Loved it and the owners were really nice and easy to do business with.

What a great place to stay. The condo was clean, had everything we needed and more. The view from the balcony was fantastic. The beach was perfect especially with the chairs and umbrella that are provided. It was a pleasure working with Dilla and Larry. Would recommend their condo to family and friends who want a great place to stay and a great beach expierence. Thanks for a great place to stay.

I was there with two of my Grandchildren ages 14 & 9 and it was the most relaxing 6 days that I've enjoyed for a very long time. The private bathroom with each bedroom was a real plus. We really loved watching the Grand children play on the beach, while we adults relaxed on the shaded deck. We also enjoyed the fact that the water was so clear that we see the sea life in the water as well as the dolphines & pelicans feeding in the waves. Looking foreward to our next stay.

This is a unit for families. We have a large family ourselves and kept that in mind with the furniture and the kitchen equipment provided. Our Children's & Grandchildren's favorite vacation is at the Island Princess. We seldom leave except to buy groceries, but there are plenty of activities and eating establishments close by for your convenience. There are a least 5 in walking distance.
