  This house was home. Was beautifully appointed and a great lay out. LOVED the spa on the deck. Yes.. there is a walk up and down many stairs to the unit which was clearly stated in the description. The owner corresponded well answering my many questions about the local area. Would DEFINITELY return to this home.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  We rented the condo for a long weekend and really enjoyed the proximity to the Stagecoach lift. The private hot tub was great after a long day on the slopes! The condo was very clean and worked well for my family. Sarah was easy to work with for our trip and she sent us a restaurant recommendation that was excellent. We enjoyed being up on the mountain but only a short drive to South Lake Tahoe.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

  Great conveniently located property. Photos accurately display the condo. Sarah was very helpful and easy to work with. We would definetly choose this property again.

  The Condo was absolutely beautiful and cozy. I would absolutely return if I am ever in Lake Tahoe again. The owner's were flexible and offered a great price. I also really enjoyed the jacuzzi.

  This is a great property for Tahoe stay. We had good time, the property is well kept and clean. I did miss the AC (for hot summer days) but i did not mind the stairs and Sarah is a great to work with.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children.

  We picked a great place for our summer Lake Tahoe getaway. This condo has been beautifully renovated with nice finishes and the floor plan has an open feel. August afternoons are warm in Tahoe but it was cool enough at night that we could enjoy the gas fireplace. The king bed was really comfortable after a long day of mountain biking, hiking or water sports, and the master shower is really nice. We expected the 90 plus stairs after reading the other reviews; they weren't so bad. Fox & Hound nearby has good pizza; we enjoyed using the kitchen on the other nights (Safeway just a 10 min drive). We knew Lake Tahoe/Heavenly was great for skiing; now I can recommend it in the summertime, too!

  While I was hesitant of the 91 stairs up to the unit they were not bad! Finding the partiular unit was not easy at night. The house number on the street side was burried in the snow and the number on the house can only bee seen in the day time. The house was as represented in the pictures. It was very comfortable and the fireplace was delightful. The owner/agent/Sarah was easy to work with. We had a slight problem getting up the stairs on the first night as they had not been shoveled, but one call to Sarah and it was taken care of, the boys were there within a couple of hours and took care of it nicely. Easy access to Stagecoach and I won some money at the Fox & Hound just down the way! Kitchen was great had everything you needed, a little small but user friendly! All and all of the 3 condos I have rented via VRBO- this was the nicest one. Hot tub was wonderful :) I would recommend to a friend for sure :) Cheers

  We really liked the condo itself. Plenty of room to move, rest and relax. Very comfortable furniture, Nice flat screen tv, Plenty of kitchen stuff to cook with. The only two drawbacks were the hot tub and the outside stairs. The hot tub did not get that hot. (We were there in September, so maybe if you go in the winter, the water will feel hotter?). There was just too many stairs to get up to the condo. You must be in shape to use this condo. My sister and I could not make it up without stopping half way up but it was quite a strain on our 76 year old mother. The location is good in relation to skiing and to Tahoe casino and main town area.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway.

  We were delighted with this mountain top get away. It was a perfect mountain condo for our week. The pictures and descriptions were up-to-date and accurate (as of 11/2010). We spent our Thanksgiving holiday here and were blessed with 4' of snow the day we arrived. Kids had a ball. We had all the necessary items needed for our Thanksgiving feast and were able to relax in the 110 degree hot tub in 5 degree weather. Sweet! Located on top of Heavenly Mountain within easy walking distance to the ski lift. Bring tire chains for your city tires during your winter visit. Roads were well maintained during our visit but you are on a mountain. We look to stay there next year and possibly a summer get away as well.

  This condo was absolutely beautiful. All furnishings were high quality and condo was very tastefully decorated. Kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need. Within walking distance to Stagecoach lift but is not ski-in/ski-out. Also, beware....there are 91 steps from the street to the front door, not something I looked forward to after a long day of skiing. The hot tub on deck was relaxing and very well taken care of. Overall, a really cool place that we enjoyed.
