Winding its way through Singletree, the Sonnenalp Golf Club's 18-hole, par 71 championship course was designed by Jay Morrish and Bob Cupp of Golf Force, a company headed by Jack Nicklaus. At an altitude of approximately 7,200 feet, Singletree receives less snow and enjoys warmer temperatures than nearby resorts, allowing golf to commence as early as March. The golf course and clubhouse serve as the centerpiece of Singletree, boasting additional amenities such as swimming and tennis.
The Eagle River meanders by at the doorstep to Singletree, providing access for excellent fly fishing, whitewater rafting and kayaking. A short drive or bicycle ride over the Eagle River is the growing community and commercial center of Edwards, where restaurants and shopping abound.
