Wailea Grand Champions Villas is at the center of Maui's premier destination resort area with the best beaches and weather on the island. Our condominium is 1,148 sf with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, fully equipped kitchen and a generous lanai overlooking lush tropical foliage. The master bedroom has an ocean view and the second bedroom opens to the lanai. Both bedrooms have comfy TempurPedic beds. The master has a king bed and the second bedroom has a queen bed along with a sitting area. The sofa in the living room converts to a queen size bed.
Our unit is on the top floor which provides privacy and spaciousness. Ceiling fans throughout and strategically places windows allow for the Maui trade winds to flow through. However, air conditioning is available in each room in addition to TVs. The lanai has remote-controlled retractable awnings to keep the sun off during the day and provide a full sky at night.
We provide and use natural & ecological soaps and cleaning products. Our drinking water is Reverse Osmosis.
The Wailea Tennis Club and the Wailea Golf Club reside next to the Grand Champions. Both offer discounts for guests staying at Grand Champions.
The swimming pools, jacuzzis and BBQ areas at Grand Champions are steps from the our condo. And Maui's best beaches, restaurants, shops and resort hotels are literally minutes away, even on foot!

Maui is the place to be. Our accommodations at Unit 8 really added to the enjoyment of our vacation. Unit 8 had all the amenities of home and was very clean and comfortable. The power awning on the lanai was a great feature. Robyn Ann was very accommodating and readily available had we required anything. We will certainly return. Don & Carol Alberta, Canada Nov. 2011

We rented this condo Dec. 3 - 10, 2011, and it was great. Due to the size of our group, we also rented another condo on the same level (2 per level), which worked out very well for us. Robyn was most accommodating and lovely to work with as we made our plans. The location was great for us. We walked to the Shops at Wailea, our guys played golf at the golf courses right there. We had easy access to the beaches and that was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this condo and location and would certainly stay there again. It was a delightful vacation.

The condo is extremely spacious and tastefully decorated in a timeless Hawaiian style that includes color and a lot of artwork. We loved how the two bedrooms were on opposite sides of the condo. Our teenage girls shared the large bedrooom suite off the lanai while we took the ocean view master. The entire condo is super clean and all the furnishings and appliances in excellent condition. There’s a TV in every room and i-Home docking station, DVD player, and stereo in the living room. From the like-new kitchen (including RO water) you have an open view into the living room and out to the lanai and tropical gardens (we noticed the unrenovated unit below us had a row of cabinets above the breakfast bar that blocked the view). There is still plenty of storage including an armoire which houses a variety of dinnerware patterns and glasses, even champagne flutes which we used for mimosas to celebrate a birthday. We brought a laptop and the wifi worked great. The bedding in both bedrooms was in soft ocean blues and botanical greens and of high-quality. We’d never slept on Tempurpedic beds before—we found them very comfortable. Early evenings we’d open all windows and the front door (it has a screen door) and let the tradewinds provide some cool air. In fact, we barely had to use the AC. The vaulted ceilings of the top floor made for a very airy feel and allowed the ceiling fans to work really well. But when we did turn on the AC units, they all worked well. And the lanai's motorized awnings were great for shade when needed. We established a routine of breakfast on the lanai every morning—the view into the lush gardens is private and very peaceful—then off to a beach with packed lunches. The condo has beach towels, chairs, an umbrella and boogie boards to borrow. The only thing we bought was an insulated tote. The location of the condo within the complex is good too—across the street is one of the pools and a gas grill, and it is one of the first buildings after you enter the complex making it a quick in and out. From the condo you can walk to the Wailea shops (attractive outdoor mall), wide sidewalks are good for long walks or jogging, or walk to the paved oceanside path which is especially pretty at sunset. Beaches are fantastic here, as little as 3 mins. away. Our favorites: Maluaka, Wailea, and Big Beach. Will try to add a 2nd review with suggested restaurants and outings. We highly recommend this condo, loved Wailea, and would definitely stay here again!
