Large home only steps to beach and intracoastal waterway. My home sits on the narrow part of the Island so you have the best of both worlds. Just a 2 minute walk to the beach or 2 minute walk to the river with no streets to cross. Bring kayaks (included with home) or your boat a few hundred feet away to launch. Plenty of parking at home for your boat. Wake up to the sunrise or relax on the upper deck gazing into the beautiful sunset and views of the Matanzas River.There is a 2 car garage loaded with beach chairs, umbrella, floats, and beach toys. Lower level has private room. Efficiency or 4th bedroom. This has a 2nd kitchen area with side by side refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, etc. Bathroom with tiled walk in shower. When by the pool it is very convenient to step into the french doors to this room. Also, just inside.. luxury beach towels,bistro table and chairs and a full size sleeper with memory foam for comfort., and a twin day bed with drawers. TV/DVD also.
Up the stairs to the 2nd level you will find the most awsome king size bamboo canopy bed in the master bedroom. Private bathroom and french doors to deck to pool. 2nd bedroom with comfortable queen bed with french doors to deck to pool, and the 3rd bedroom also with queen bed. All bedrooms have TV/DVD with cable channels. The 3rd bathroom on this floor for 2nd and 3rd bedroom guests. Full size washer and dryer in the utility room. Up the stairs to the top floor. When you walk into to this you will say wow! This is one huge room with full kitchen area, living room, dining area, 4th bathroom, and two sets of french doors to the deck to the pool. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and more. Quality appliances, new dishwasher, plenty of glasses, dishes, dish towels, etc. Living room has two queen sleepers and a futon. Extra bedding supplied. Large 55' LCD TV with a DVD. Windows completely surround this room with white two inch blinds. Quite a great room for entertaining. 4 top table and 4 colorful barstools. Two custom made picnic tables on the top deck along with a Weber grill. Views of the waterway.
Down the decks to the pool you will find a large beautiful heated pool with inground hot tub. Concrete table and benches with umbrella stored in the garage. You will really enjoy this home and have a great time.
Supplied with every guest... laundry soap, dryer sheets, boxed soap, liquid hand soap, new sponge, sos pads, dish soap, dishwasher finish, large and small garbage bags, 8 rolls of Charmin, and 2 rolls of Bounty paper towels. Plenty of bath, hand, wash, beach, and kitchen towels. My entire life consists of taking care of my homes and making them comfortable for my guests, so you will have the most wonderful vacation ever!

Our family stayed here for a week and had a great time. We brought our little poodle and he had a great time, too. :) Walked to the beach; had to cross A1A but it isn't bad at all in Jan. Daughter enjoyed the pool, and the parents enjoyed the hot tub. There are kayaks but we didn't use them after all; I did use their beach chairs at the beach, and noodles in the pool. The house is well stocked and the owner is easy to work with. Recommend.Owner response: Thanks for taking the time to write a review. I supply many items for my guests and always updating and buying more items. The beach is such a short walk it is easy to carry the light weight chairs to the beach. The weather here is beautiful and the perfect place to get out of the snow and the cold. Glad you had a great week!

My family and I stayed at this house July 17-24, 2010. This house has EVERYTHING you could imagine-from beach towels to spices in the kitchen, from floats galore for the pool and beach to bikes and a GIANT cart to haul your stuff in to the beach! We had several people ask us on the beach where we got our Gorilla Cart(the actual name of it). It came in VERY handy! Thank you, Donna for having thought of every little detail. The pool was small but perfect for our family, and we spent LOTS of time in it. Also, the walk to the beach is indeed very short, only took us about 3 minutes to get there. This house is perfectly laid out for one or two families, or 3 couples. The master is on one side of the house and the other two bedrooms are on the other side of the kitchen. And speaking of beds, the queen and king beds sleep great! The mattresses and sheets/blankets make you feel like you are staying in a luxurious hotel! Lastly, I will mention that this house is only about 10 minutes from downtown St. Augustine. We ate at a restaurant the last night called Columbia-Mexican and Cuban food-it was amazing! We also took our kids to the Alligator Farm which was a blast for the whole family! You will not regreat booking this house!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: I am the owner of 4 homes in this area. I am very involved with my homes and clean and stock them along with the housekeepers; Tom and Pam who are very well trained. I bought this home in 2005 and have alot of repeat guests. I am also a Realtor since 1996. I have worked very hard to get to where I am today. I am the single mother of three children whom are all grown now. Richard is a lawyer, graduated from Fordham law school with honors. He is also the Chairman of the Florida Real Estate Commission and recently appointed Chairman of the Broward County Republican Party. He is an Estate Planner at NorthTrust Bank in Miami. Julie lives outside of Jacksonville, Florida and works with Medtronic Spinal Division. She is very successful. Has won the Presidential Award in previous years with this company. She is also a Champion Barrell Racer. She owns a 8 acre farm and cares for her four horses. TJ is my youngest son and is married to Kayla. They live in St.Augustine and the first to make me a proud grandma. Jayden is 4 and JennaBelle is a 2 yr. old and another one on the way. They are beautiful children and love their grandma!
