Why the Owner Chose Red Wing
We owned, and still own, the Moondance Inn Bed and Breakfast. Over the years we had received numerous calls from groups, families, people with children and or pets wanting a place to stay. When the home next to our B&B became available it seemed a perfect fit for these customers.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The Guesthouse Next Door is a beautiful home with original birch wood work throughout. The front porch and back deck allow our guests to enjoy the outdoors in this quaint river town. The house is also conveniently located to shops, restaurants, and many of the activities that Red Wing is known for.

Lovely house, mediocre service

We rent a lot from VRBO, and always find the rentals well equipped with notes, local restaurant menus, ideas of things to do in the area (coupons, local interest, etc). This house is beautiful, but stripped down because it's for sale. Owner (next door) was pleasant, but we were frustrated by the lack of local information provided to us. We were also up there after a huge snow, and the driveway& walk were barely cleared, and we had to do that ourselves. Like I said: Beautiful home, Mediocre Service. Also, the stairway in is VERY steep....I have MS, and this was a challenge for me. This information wasn't provided, and was particularly stressful with all the snow.
Recommended for:Pet owners, families with teenagers.
