Just returned from our 3rd visit to this villa. Great villa for 2 or 3 couples due to the separation of the bedrooms and baths. Best way to start the day is to meet in the middle outdoor (but covered) center area that overlooks the pool and ocean. We could probably spend all day there! Well equiped kitchen, dining and family rooms, however we did not spend much time at the villa during the day. Easy access to anything and everywhere on the island. Took the cooler and lawn chairs up to Maho Beach to watch the planes come in and leave, so glad they were there to use. Ermine, the housekeeper is a wonderful person and the place is spotless. My only suggestion would be to put either a hand rail or sticky strips on the tile steps down to the pool - once wet they are quite slick. Most likely we'll be back!

Our 17 Night Stay at LaCasita

This was our second stay at LaCasita but first since the present owners had purchased it. It's a great villa in a great location. It's very private with outstanding sunset views. We actually saw the green flash twice. The villa is well equipped complete with a nice sized cooler to take to the beach as well as sand chairs. There was one raft for the pool but we purchased two more and left them behind for future guests to enjoy. The maid Ermine is a wonderful lady and is very accommodating as far as times when she'll do the cleaning. She works around your schedule and is all about your comfort and having the best time. The villa is nicely protected from the winds which can be strong during the winter months and the covered area is perfect for the daily but brief storms that are common to the island. We actually found ourselves staying in several days rather than going to the beach. We had the sun, freshwater pool, waves crashing in front of us, cover from the passing storms and of course our food and drink nearby in the kitchen. We always rent villa's and LaCasita is probably our 6th different one in St Maarten. It's one we will definitely stay at again.
