Park in front of our updated ground floor 2 bedroom, 2 bath ~1100 Sq ft unit w full kitchen/dining bar, great porch& private pool across from the beach in Kingston Plantation. Unit equipped w free HiSpeed wireless Internet service and HiDefinition TV service on a new large flat panel TV in LR. Kingston is 145 acre private oceanfront resort that has it all on-site, away from the hustle of downtown Myrtle but close enough for access to everything. Our unit is unique...among nearest to the ocean without the cost. Compare to units higher in price and farther away!
Resort Features: Dining on-site (upscale steakhouse, pizza/deli, bar n grill, tavern, ocean front cafe, ice cream, coffee shop), bars, Health Club, premium tennis facility, area shuttle, Golf Course next door and more, all in a gated, landscaped setting w many pools and activities.

Unit Features/Layout - Well stocked kitchen with bar counter and stools, opens to bright living/dining area overlooking lake from screened porch w rocking chairs and bistro set. King bed and private full bath in MBR w TV, two Twin beds and full bath in 2BR w TV, pull out Queen in LR. TVs each with expanded cable and HBO, HD svc in Living Room.
Updates and upgrades of note:
2008: Refrigerator, blinds, MBR furniture, LR entertainment center, porch furniture, updated TVs/DVDs, and kitchen upgrades, Heating/Air Conditioning unit, LR&DR light/fan fixtures, BA fixtures, hot water heater. Newer carpet, bright paint, decorations and 2BR furniture also in place.
2009: Free Hi Speed Internet Service w wireless in the unit! Beach toys added, chairs and coolers added.
2010: New sofa w queen sleeper and loveseat in main room! Pack N Play crib. HD 32" flat panel TV in main room. Many games as well as videos and books added.
Ocean is short walk across the footbridge to gorgeous private beach with chair and umbrella service in season, as well as multiple oceanfront pools, restaurants, live music area, tiki bar! AND, use the bridge short cut to the optional Health Club, tennis and indoor pool/spa with volleyball, bocce, and horseshoes.
Golfers: Everyone in your foursome gets a bed, and the Concierge/Golf Desk offers tee times and discounts at many of the 100+ courses in Myrtle. This includes the adjacent Arcadian Shores course to which the free shuttle will take you.

Why the Owner Chose Laurel Court
The location and setting of Kingston Plantation is perfect and a best value for a resort of this quality. Great for kids and families, with lots to do onsite and easy to get to shopping, dining, shows etc.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Private pool and proximity to the beach are key. we love to end the day with "happy hour" at our pool after the beach. Landscaping makes the paths and lakes ideal for walking, running, strollers etc. The resort services and food are great (bars, ice cream, steak, Tavern n'Grill, Starbucks etc). Being on our porch for morning coffee or evening drinks is special. And it's nice to park right outside our front door or use the free area shuttle!

Thank you so much for a great visit. You were so very helpful with our first VRBO experience. The condo was great with lots of "extras". It is nicely decorated and has wonderful access to pool, etc.. We loved the view of the lake and it was a very short walk to the beach. Having wirless internet was a HUGE plus. Thank you for allowing us to share your home.

The Condo was great! All of the amenities you could ever need are there! The proximity to the beach is a very nice feature. Our favorite area was the back deck and back area of the property. What a nice area to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail. Our kids enjoyed the board games and books. The pool area is very nice and the health club is state of the art. We enjoyed some court time on the excellent tennis courts. One of the best features of Kingston Plantation is the proximity to shopping, restaurants, and shows. We visited the Dixie Stampede for an outstanding show- just 5 minutes from the condo. The neighborhood was quiet and private, yet very close to anything you would ever need. The restaurants are too many to name. Biminis is one of Myrtle’s best kept secrets! If you like shopping, the outlet mall is just around the corner. Overall, we had an outstanding stay and the East family was great to work with. Our only disappointment was that we had to leave so soon! We can’t wait to return!

We loved our week long stay in your condo, it was very child friendly (we have a 3 year old and a 9 mos old) and well kept. The decor is adorable and the view of the lake from the screened in porch was beautiful. We enjoyed every detail from the children's games to the well stocked kitchen. We have rented in the past thru Kingston and found that renting thru VRBO was a much better deal for the money. It was so nice to be able to walk to the beach, pool, etc within just a few minutes. We look forward to returning in the future.

The listing description and photos are an accurate representation of this location. It is clean and well-maintained and the owner is quick to answer questions. While there is no ocean view from the unit, it is only a short walk down a path and over a footbridge to the beach. There is a nice view of a small lake from the screened-in porch. Wi-fi is password protected and the instructions to get connected are on the refrigerator door. The kitchen is fully-stocked with utensils and cookware...just bring your food! No key to keep up with... you just have to remember a code to unlock the front door. We were able to park right in front of the door most of the time. Other times, we were able to park just a short walk away. We stayed here with our children, ranging in age from 9 to 18 years and everyone had a blast. It is a short drive to lots of shopping and entertainment, but is in a very quiet area. I highly recommend this rental!
