Winter Sale... Fantastic Condo, Ocean/Golf Course View

  The Good: Close to store, resteraunts and town. Very Clean aside from the cobwebs all over the one bathroom in the shower. Great supply of books and VHS movies, Dvds but dvd player doesnt work so didnt help. Neighbours are very nice. Emailed owner once we arrived with ha few questions regarding resteraunts (he said hed send a list but i never got it) and never heard back. Was very helpful though prior to arrival with sending some tips of where to go for beaches and fishing etc. The store across the street makes AWESOME sandwhiches!!! highly reccomend! The pool and hottub are great, very nice looking facility but found out halfway through that babies arent allowed in the pool... I felt that the price was fair for what I got. The Bad. Inaccurate description. Condo is not ocean view at all, no spices or salt/pepper in cupboard (so make sure you buy what you need at store) I was annoyed when i found that the cupboard was empty aside from a bit of coffee as I didnt buy any salt or pepper or sugar since the description said it came with a stcked unit. No biggie, I went out and bought some and we ate out the first day. It is LOUD. The condo is situated near pool where homeowners gather and drink etc. Only a few nights went past ten (till 4 am!!) but havign a little baby it was hell to get her to sleep. The gardeners in the morning woke us up every day at 6am having loud conversations outside our window. Again, baby doesnt sleep-we dont sleep. Satelite tv-not really,very few channels. Internet only works at one far end of the pool, and only works sometimes. This was annoying becuase we were there for a long time and had to do some work online and made it very difficult. BBQ doesnt work well, sort of boiled our meat. Best resteraunts: Habaneros=awesome bennys. great fish tacos, and the sloppy texan. amazing. Tropicana=great seafood enchiladas The mexican taquilary (behind walmart on the side street) So good very authentic. chicken burrito and the stuffed clams, margeritas are good too! happy time drinking bar-great margaritas. the guyworking there is awesome, let my mom hold his baby, and we watched 80's music videos while we drank. fun times. Shopping-If you dont get at least 50% off the asking price your getting hosed. summery: would i go back? san jose-yes. Club la costa? maybe the unit? i suppose it depends who i am travelling with! The description needs to be updated for sure as it is a bit misleading. The manager is great (Esther)

  Owner response: Thank you for your comments, it can only help us in making a better place for those to stay. I will update listing where needed. But we do welcome your comments...since we don't get as much feedback was we would like and therefore, can not make the improvements. As for the comment regarding a list of resturants, its on the "how to get to the condo directions"list.....probably at least 25 restaurants are on that list so please print that out and take with you. I truely thank you for your feed back.....it can only help us improve your stays with us....

  Condo is as nice as it looks in the pictures (if not more so). Very comfortable beds. A little construction going on out front, but you don't notice the noise (although the view of the ocean from the pool area was taken away.) We stayed as two couples there and would rent this unit again!

  My girlfriend and I stayed at this condo and it was perfect. The beds were comfortable, lots of nice towels, soft linens, a well stocked kitchen, a great fridge that kept the beers cold and a freezer that made ice quickly. There were beach chairs and a cooler to use, which is a huge plus. Neat and very clean!!

  Owner response: Thank you so much!!! I just kinda got back from Cabo myself...FYI, I will be mailing your deposit back to you no later than tomorrow. Also, I added a very nice 4 seater patio set. That was on of the comments that a guest shared with me so if she has any comments as to how I can make a more pleasent stay, I'm open to more ideas...thank you!
