For nature-lovers this a paradise for the many species of birds that can viewed right out the front picture window or back deck. The deer are a natural backdrop to this scene. Only a ten minute walk to the lake, where you can set up your special spot for opening day of trout season. Locust Lake rated "best in the country trout fishing."
Share the many activities up at the chalet which are posted every week. In the summer time you can barbecue down by lake (the grills are already set up) and breathe in the fresh mountain air as the kids going swimming in lake (lifeguard on duty). The state game land is only two roads away from the house therefore you get some interesting visitors from time to time.
Perfect for one or two families with the all the comforts of home. Three of the four bedrooms contain cable TV/VCR/DVD,as well as the family room and living room. Great for those football games. On the lower level there is a large family room/game room with a gas fireplace. While the kids enjoy themselves... You can cozy up to the woodburning stove in the upper level living room and chit chat with your friends and family. The kitchen is a gourmet's delight... Plenty of room to do the cooking... Dining area can seat ten people comfortably, (additional tables are also provided for larger gatherings) great for family get-togethers or for special holiday entertaining.
