You can walk to the Bay access at the end of road (only 5 minutes away) where during low-moderate surf you can snorkel, swim and kayak. Untouched by commercialism, the nearest secluded Honomalino Beach lined with coconut trees and containing archaeological sites, is 20 minutes hiking from Milolii Beach Park. Melanie, Thanks for letting us have the Hula Hut for a wonderful week of restoration. We walked into Honomalino Bay several times. It was our favorite place of anywhere. It was wonderful to be away from it all! Milolli'i is truly a magical place and the people in the village were so friendly and sweet. Washington

My wife Janet and I loved our stay on the Big Island. We snorkeled, we hiked, we enjoyed the beautiful island, and we did lots of sight seeing. Two-Step, which is by the Place of Refuge. Two-Step offered the best snorkeling, but the snorkeling at Honomalino Beach, was also very nice. We saw whales from the Hula Hut's lani and heard the whales blowing at night. In fact, we saw whales at many different places on the island. We visited Volcano National Park and did some hiking there, around Crater Road, the Lava Tubes, and the Petroglyths. We also visited lots of Coffee farms. The coffee farm that is just south of Milolii proved to be the best buy on the island. And, the coffee is superb. We made a number of trip to Puuhonua o Honaunau(the Place of Refuge) and to Puukohala Heiau. Both sites have been well restored by the National Parks and were very enjoyable to walk around. The Place of Refuge, however, proved to be one of our favorites. It's hard to beat all the activities that are there, the beautiful park, the incredible tidepools, and the wonderful snorkeling. It was always nice to "come home" to the Hula Hut. Your place is very roomy. The solitude and the quiet were good for the soul. The sound of the waves and the sea breezes were both very soothing. We most definitely enjoyed our 3 weeks at the Hula Hut. We will most certainly consider vacationing at your place in the future. February, Minnesota

We had a wonderful trip to Hawaii, and a good time in Miloli’i and staying at your place. We did see whales, and enjoyed the crashing of the waves against the ‘rocks’/lava. Thank you, January, Vancouver, WA
