Located on Milolii Beach, approx. 33 miles South from downtown Kailua-Kona on the Big of Island, this unique place provides a quiet get away from it all, a modern new home sits on the lava slightly above sea level, large lanai overlooking Papa Bay. It is only 145 feet away from the Blue Pacific, you will love waking up to beautiful ocean that is so close you can smell the fresh sea breeze and watch the waves crashing against the lava rock. See dolphins leaping and whales swimming directly in front of the lanai while you toast your special occasions and watch the sunset from this home. At night you can enjoy the serenity of peace and quiet or open your windows and allow the soothing sound of the surf to put you to sleep. Enjoy the coastal breeze and the dry climate all year long. You can walk to the Bay access at the end of road (only 5 minutes away) where during low-moderate surf you can snorkel, swim and kayak. Untouched by commercialism, the nearest secluded Honomalino Beach lined with coconut trees and containing archaeological sites, is 20 minutes hiking from Milolii Beach Park. It is what real Old, Hawaii was on the island and is perfect for the adventurer.
PLEASE CONTACT FOR THE AVAILABILITY. I WILL BE HAPPY TO ASSIST FOR ANY ARRANGEMENT.
A leisurely drive away is the Kailua-Kona downtown shopping areas where you will find a variety of clubs, stores and restaurants. You may wish to dine at the “Captain Cook”, one of the other surfers type restaurants on winding roads that criss-cross the island.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Hula Hut. Thank you for sharing it with us. We loved hearing the ocean and waking up with a vista of the Pacific Ocean. The new mattress is a great improvement.

A really nice place. Melanie, the owner, is very responsive and returns your call or email straightaway. The house is well set-up. We hiked to Honomalino Beach. We drove the South Point Rd. Ate in Na'alehu at Shaka's. The last two days, the surf was up and the house is so close to the sea that the spray went up over 100 feet--really impressive. Whales were seen and heard. The thread count on the sheets was the best we've seen. We'd stay there again. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place; don't think tourists come down here much. Thanks, Melanie! We had a great time. The waves were huge, sunsets beautiful, black sand beaches were gorgeous, the volcano was awesome and your place was comfortable and convenient to the southern part of the island. The long drive up to the highway wasn't so bad, we just took our time and were fine.
