If you are looking for an elegant house for a great price during a great time of the year (September, December) in a wonderful Cape Coral neighborhood, this is the one.
Houses on this Gulf access canal sold for $1 million plus and this house is the only rental property available on this street. These homes are known as Millionaires Row and are in one of the best locations and on maybe THE LARGEST canal in all of Cape Coral.
This home is the cream of the crop.
Let's give you another quick summary:
My home is a south facing pool home near Sands Blvd on the 200 plus foot wide Eternity Canal, just minutes from the Gulf. It has been completely re-done with fresh paint, new carpet, art and furniture just for you. When you walk in, the first thing you see is the water and an amazing dining room with a custom glass dining table.
As you go around the corner, there is a large family room with custom art, a fireplace (yes, in Florida) and wonderful soft furniture in the back of the house overlooking the canal and pool. "Take your shoes off and relax."
I have purchased a modern corian counter kitchen with modern appliances, a center island, and wet bar. There are views from the living room, dining room, family room and kitchen of the salt water canal. The home is filled with canal scenery and of the fish jumping and boats going by.
The master bedroom has a SUPER KING BED with a great big bathroom with custom bath and stained glass windows (and a private entrance from the pool if you need it). The two other bedrooms were also just redecorated and lightened up with beautiful art and bedspreads. One bedroom has a QUEEN, the other a TWIN.
The outside:
The front door is surrounded by a custom salt-water fish pond ( no mosquitoes) with tropical landscaping and above the entrance is an amazing stained glass window. And in back, the pool area has a covered lanai area with the greatest patio furniture you've ever seen. Everyone loves it! New print loungers and patio set will let you know you're on vacation! And you can swim in a clean, protected and large heated pool.
Going out through the pool screen to the back lawn, there is a large thick-grased backyard for croquet. And if you like to fish, you are in luck. There is great fishing just off of the dock area for grouper, snook, redfish, jacks, and snapper. (use live or frozen shrimp). Then cook 'em on the grill.
What about the interior décor? Well, the home is decorated in simple, elegant designer colors. So if you are looking for a place to come to to relax and feel like you are in a high end hotel, then this is your home. It is as nice as I could make it for your comfort. BTW, Ft Myers, Naples and Cape Coral have water rationing on and off during the summer, fall and winter due to drought so the front yards can look kind of brown from time to time. So take that into consideration.

We stayed at this house for 12 days at the beginning of July. The owners were good and responded to emails and any questions we had. The layout of the house was great and there was lots of room for everyone. The house was clean but the photographs on this site need to be updated. The kitchen was well stocked and everything worked fine. The house needs some general up keep as light switches were broken, shower tile have mold and carpets are in need of replacement. We wanted to use the bbq but it was rusted through and had hole - not very safe. The lania had some rips in it and the back screen door handle was broken. The pool was wonderful and well maintained by the pool lady. The pond at the front of the house would be lovely if it was maintained - it was a cesspool with stagnant water and was a breeding ground for mosquitos. A few repairs and updates will go along way for this rental unit. All and all we still very much enjoyed our stay.
Owner response:Here are the many errors in this review. This tenant actually asked to STAY LONGER in our home FOR FREE and we let her. We could have charged her but we did not. When she left, our property manager asked her how she liked the house and she said that she loved it. Look at the pictures of our home, no broken light fixtures, the screen door handle was not broken but was stuck. All she had to do was to call us and we would have fixed it. The lanai has no rips in it, it is perfect and as far as the barbecue goes, it was designed with a hole in the bottom so you can clean out the ashes. To say it is defective is completely wrong. The bathroom she is referring to is an outside custom bathroom/shower to rinse yourself off before and after getting into the pool. Perhaps in the 2 weeks that she stayed there some mold started to form, after all this is Florida. All she had to do was to call us. Finally, the pool out front is a salt-water pool, all natural with algae and fish. No mosquitos, it is impossible for them to live and anyway we are making that into an all tropical garden this fall. We have had over 100 renters in our home and there are always some questions that we get and we handle them immediately. This tenant never called us once to let us know about any of these issues and after she left, our handyman went over and found none of the things that she wrote about. Frankly, we are baffled about everything but rest assured that if you stay with us, our cleaning lady and handyman are within minutes to take care of problems, any problems that you may have. We are here to help.

This place is awesome! The house is so spacious and clean. The four teenage boys were on one side of the house and the two adults in the master bedroom. The kid’s late nights did not bother us. They enjoyed the pool. Surprisingly, during our visit with very hot days, the pool stayed cool and refreshing. The master bedroom has a huge bathroom and walk-in closet. The kitchen has tons of counter space. The appliances worked well, including the washer and dryer. The house is conveniently located to restaurants and shopping. We rented a boat at Cape Harbour which is easily located close to the house. The owner responded to all my annoying emails and Yvonne, the local contact for anything, was great. I didn’t get a chance to meet her but she was really nice and always answered her phone on the first ring. She was helpful with places to go and things to do. We will most likely rent the property again.

Thanks for a great week in Cape Coral. Your house is very nice and relaxing. We fished with shrimp (no luck). Pool and lanai are great. Enjoyed meeting Yvonne,such a nice person. This was our second year to vacation in Cape Coral. Hope to return again. Ohio Buckeyes
Owner response:Everyone says that our house is very nice and relaxing. And usually the fishing is very good from our dock when people use shrimp but perhaps the boats going by scare the fish. You can always kayak to the nature preserve and try fishing there. Our pool and lanai are spotlessly clean, and private. So are our three bedrooms. Your home was absolutely wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed everything about it, including pool and the canal in the back. In very quite neighborhood and close enough to everything you can go do your shopping and come back into the quite. Thanks for sharing this lovely home with us. Weather was fantastic.
