We stayed at this property for 1 week. Property was perfect, very clean, and felt like home - not a rental. Everything we needed was there and exceeded our expectations. As for Moonlight Basin - we used to travel to a different ski area every year until we found Moonlight Basin. Now we visit Moonlight annually. The Tracy family and Moonlight make for a perfect combination. We have tried other properties at Moonlight, and they are all wonderful, however, the experience with these owners makes this property exceptional. After dealing with this VRBO, we will be asking for the privilege to utilize this property again.

This was a return visit to the Tracy home at Saddle Ridge, We rent VRBO homes all over the U.S. often, and this one is a favorite. It is well stocked with every amenity to make our ski trip special. We especially like being able to ski in and out so easily and the views are amazing. The kitchen has everything I am used to having in my own kitchen and even has spices needed for cooking. The full size washer and dryer was convenient and there was also a boot dryer for our ski boots! This home has a warm inviting feel to it. We hope to stay here when we ski Big Sky again next year, Thank you Tracy's for sharing your great home with us!

Summertime in Big Sky

We had an awesome time during our summer vacation in Big Sky. The condo was comfortable and clean. There weren't a lot of people around in the summer which is a lot different from Colorado ski towns. It was absolutely wonderful. The views are spectacular and the wildlife was abundant. We saw bears (a momma grizzlye and two cubs, and a lone black bear) and moose and their babies. Not from the distance, right off the road. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back. It's a beautiful area and the condo was everything we expected it to be.

Family Getaway

We had a wonderful time at the Tracy's home. The accomadations were more than we could've asked for. My family and I wanted to spend some quality time together since we don't get to do that at home and we couldn't have done it in a more beautiful setting. The views were breathtaking and the wildlife was amazing, we even had a Red Fox visit us on the patio while we were in the hot tub, sooo cool. Being from Minnesota I thought I knew what snow was, I was wrong. They get SNOW by the FEET not inches!!! The fishing was great and we had a blast playing the board games that were provided. We also enjoyed having a couple of cocktails while talking by the fireplace. We would definitly go back, my son and I said we would love to move there.

One of the best locations at Moonlight

I just wanted to take some time and say how much I enjoyed my week skiing at Moonlight Basin and our evenings staying at Saddle Ranch W-2. After spending most of the 2009-2010 season riding at the big resorts in Colorado, Moonlight Basin was such a nice change of pace. With less crowds I was able to get in more runs, by not waiting in lift lines after each run, plus it was nice to actually be staying on the mountain in a true ski in ski out lodge. Not having to get dressed in a parking lot or chalet is defiantly a luxury. All I needed to do was look down and see if the chair lift is running, get dressed, walk out the back door, and then a short ride down to the chair lift, where you can purchase lift tickets, and off you go for the day. The skiing at Moonlight rivals some of the best terrain in Colorado. For the motivated skiers, hikes from the Head Waters or Lone Tree lifts would give you access to some amazing, mostly untouched terrain. If hiking isn’t your thing, then the terrain that is accessible from the lifts is challenging for skiers of all skill levels. At the end of the day getting back to the condo is a breeze; with just a short catwalk that will bring you right back to where you began the day, the back door of the condo. No walking back to the car, or through the chalet, this truly is a ski in ski out facility. Our evenings were spent in the spacious condo, with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the beautiful mountain views. Of course the hot tub is a nice perk, its pretty easy to relax when soaking in this hot tub when every where you look there are beautiful mountain views. I just want to thank the generous owners for sharing their space with us, my expectations where blown away!! All in all it was a great week at Moonlight Basin and we will are planning on returning and staying here for years to come.

True ski in and ski out, beautiful views, professionally decorated, spacious and very well equiped. We( 3 couples) stayed at Moonlight from February 20 to the 27th, 2010 and could not have had better accomodations. The skiing was not bad either-no lift lines and plenty of variety; easy access to Big Sky too. Highly recommended!!

This was an awsome vaction spot. The accomodation made it work for all of us doing many activities like alpine skiing, cross country skiing, dog sledding, and snow shoeing. The place was truly ski in - ski out and working with the owners while renting it was very smooth during the entire process. We would definitely come back to this unit and owner again!

We stayed in this condo January 6-13, 2010 and wished that we had planned another day or two. It was wonderful. There were 6 of us; we had plenty of room. It was very convenient, clean, comfortable, and the location was perfect for skiing. The views were spectacular. We highly recommend this condo and Moonlight Basin resort.

I have stayed in this unit with 4 or 5 others every year for the past 4 years and will continue to do so every year. Even with a lot of people, there is more than enough room for everyone (plenty of beds, spacious kitchen, living room, etc.). You can't beat the location either. You can see the chairlift from the deck and a quick ride down a small hill gets you there (where you can also buy lift tickets). The runs are long, not crowded, and accommodate every skill level. Lift lines are extremely short and the employees are all very nice. If you decide to go over to Big Sky, you can ski over easily as well, so don't even need to get in the car. And, after a long day, nothing beats relaxing in the outdoor hot tub with a great view of the mountain! Highly recommended!

We stayed at your villa from Sept 21 thru Oct 2, 2009, and enjoyed every day. A trip to Yellowstone let us see elk, moose, bison, wolves, and fox. Coming back that night there was a small herd of elk just off the road between Big Sky and Moonlight Basin. Another enjoyable side trip was to Virginia City, an old west mining town, that is on the Historic Register and preserved as it was years ago. After nine days of sunny weather we woke to a cool morning with a blanket of snow. That changed the spectacular views and made the hot tub very inviting. Also, a small black bear ran around the end of the adjoining villa. Well equipped, everything we wanted with nothing missing. A 10 for views, comfort, furnishings.

We stayed in this lovely home in October when it was warm during the day and cool at night, and the leaves were turning orange. The house has everything to make you feel at home. It is beautifully decorated, outfitted with every amenity, and the view is spectacular. The owners generously share all their comforts with their guests. We would love a return visit during the winter to experience Big Sky in the snow.

This is a beautifully furnished and well appointed place. It is a true ski-in/ski-out with great views of the mountain. Instructions sent before our stay and instructions located throughout the townhouse were very guest friendly. It is a short walk to Moonlight Lodge and we took advantage of their facilities including pool, restaraunt, and large fire-side lounge area.

Several friends and myself went out for over a week last March and had a very memorable trip. This was such a surreal and peaceful experience. It provided all of us the chance to escape the busy city life and relax out West in the mountains. I really enjoyed snowboarding at Moonlight basin. The runs satisfied all levels of riders, from beginner to expert. I found many runs that challenged my abilities and I have been boarding for over 12 years. Moonlight’s snow conditions could not have been better. Oh yea, and there were no lines at the chair lifts. The condo provided more than enough room for 8 people to stay, offering a beautiful view and easy access to the chair lift. The hot tub is wonderfully located providing a breath taking view of the mountain and is a great way to unwind after shredding some nar pow on the mountain. After taking yearly trips to different locations out West, I think we finally found our mountain home away from home.

My family had a great time and loved the place. My parents live in Bozeman, MT but we wanted to stay at the hill and take in the beauty. It was awesome to have the ski in/out availability and also the daycare at the bottom of the hill for our 17 month old daughter. Here's to POWDER, deep & dry. Here's to the endless MONTANA SKY. we stayed at the condo February of 2006. It has everything to offer for an incredible skiing experience. It has spacious living quarters that are professionally decorated with a cozy mountain theme. Convenient ski storage, large garage and plenty of room for all your gear. Walk out the back sliding door, snap on your skis and off you go for a great experience on Moonlight Basin. The hot tub and fireplace are perfect for after a full day on skiing.

This very beautiful and comfortable vacation home is an ideal getaway during the off-ski season as well! It is surrounded by spectacular scenic mountain views, and is a short distance from Yellowstone National Park. There are also fantastic golf courses nearby, as well as river-rafting and fly-fishing. It is not just a vacation, it is an experience you will remember for years to come! I hope to be back some day!

We enjoyed our stay in mid October of 2006 very much. I would highly recommend this rental. It's very clean and well appointed. The linens are all brand new and the kitchen has everything you could want for cooking. There's lots of storage and the rooms are huge! And the view from every window is spectacular.

It just doesn’t get any better than this! This spacious and well appointed property is in a prime location on Moonlight basin. Literally walk out the door, step into your skies, and ski a short distance to the lift. The spacious kitchen was perfect for preparing meals for our family and the lodge was just a short walk away if we weren’t in the mood for cooking. I highly recommend this property for the ultimate ski vacation.

Stayed for two weeks at the end of August 2006.Didn’t need snow to enjoy the area and accommodations. Striking mountain views in every direction. The unit is beautifully furnished and has everything you need for an enjoyable vacation. Did a lot of hiking, fishing, and a horseback trail ride.
