Wonderful, private winter wonderland; cross country ski right out the door!
This totally private, four-acre, wooded lot is the site of this fabulous year-round home. Originally a Norwegian barn, this home has been reconstructed and added onto, resulting in a total of three bedrooms and two baths and another separate suite with bath. Owner is an artist and she has an art library and large suite suitable for painting and drawing.
Within one mile to Ellison Bay's restaurants (T. Ashwell's restaurant is highly regarded) and art galleries. Two miles to wonderful waterfront parks, The Clearing Conference Center, and two miles to Lake Michigan just to name a few.
Due to past damages by children, owner is skittish about renting to those with youngsters, including teenagers. The house is really adult-oriented, but if you have sweet children, (or you are responsible parents!!!) do give me a call to discuss whether this house would be appropriate.

- Suitability
- No Pets Allowed : ...no sneaking up pets! The skunks will spray them! Skunks do not bother humans, only dogs that approach their dens!
- Wheelchair Accessible (may have limitations) : A friend in an automated chair was able to move around the first floor. He brought his own ramp.
- Kid Friendly : Well behaved and adult supervised children allowed...remember there is a lot of artwork which could be damaged by children.
- Not Suitable for Children : Due to damages to art work, windows and screens incurred in 2009, children are no longer suitable guests.
- Smoking Not Allowed : SMOKERS ARE STRONGLY DISCOURAGED FROM RENTING THIS PROPERTY AND IF SOMEONE SMOKES, ARE ENCOURAGED TO DISPOSE OF THEIR BUTTS WHERE NO ONE ELSE WILL HAVE TO RAKE THEM UP

The map does not initially show the correct location. It is quite a way off the Mink River Road, not ON the road as the map indicated. I hope you can pan for it and find the house, the big garage, the fire pit, circular drive and woods/fields.
