Just returned from a long week end in Savannah. The property was perfect for our stay. Heather has outdone herself regarding her attention to detail. Everything was top quality, from her decorating to the necessities needed to cook clean or get around town. She has truly outdone herself as a hostess. The wine and snacks that greet you upon your arrival are only the tip of the iceberg. Can't wait to return, wonderful visit.

Our stay in beautiful Savannah could not have been better. This condo is located in the center of the historic district so that we were able to walk everywhere. The property is exactly as described and the owner was so very helpful. Heather has stocked the condo so that all of those little extras are there. we were greeted with wine and cheese, the refrigerator had water and sodas, and I even found a bandaid when I needed it. These little extras are so helpful when you are traveling. All of the reviews for this property are excellent; this says it all. Also, all of the suggestions provided by the owner were extremely helpful.

An Amazing & Relaxing Birthday in Savannah

This year I decided to spend my birthday in the beautiful city of Savannah, and I am so glad I stumbled across the listing for Savannah Pied-a-Terre, Suite I. The experience was fantastic from begging to end. I cannot thank Heather enough for her kindness & hospitality. The accommodations were impeccable… from the beautiful modern kitchen, to the huge relaxing spa tub & the cozy bedroom. I felt like I was staying in a suite at a boutique spa. Everything you need to explore Savannah is at your disposal in the apartment, tour brochures, maps of the historic district & beautiful books on the history of the area. Location…Location..location! I never even needed my car during my visit, everything is within walking distance of the place. There is even a grocery store just a few blocks away! I would highly recommend a stay at Savannah Pied-a-Terre. In fact I cannot wait to return to Savannah & book another stay here

A wonderful place to relax once Christmas is over

We had a wonderful time staying in Savannah. This condo was exactly what we were looking for. The pictures represent the condo very accuratley and it is in a good location. The condo was neat and clean and I really liked the mix of the old and new together. Heather was wonderful to work it. She met us at the house the afternoon we arrived and showed us around and left several brouchures and a notebook full of recommendations full of places to eat and things to do. We used those to help us during out stay and had the absolute best time! Some of the things we enjoyed were the Blue Orb Zombie tour, The Olde Pink House for dinner, looking around the cemetaries, seeing the Catholic Church, and touring the old homes. We had a wonderful time just walking though all of the squares and then visiting the places we just happened upon. We hope to visit Savannah again soon and would stay at this condo if it is avaliable. Thank you for your help and for a great place to stay!

Couldn't have described it better myself! Great for us......a Mom, daughter, and future daughter 'n law, and a great place to get in some real bonding time while enjoying the Christmas season. Was also able to get in some shopping at an array of really great unique shops nearby. The condo was lovely, the weather was accommodating for the most part, the food at the so very well known restaurants in the area was awsome, and the beach, as usual, is always great. A great time spent was emphasized by all the special attention given that made our trip just that much more enjoyable. The addition of the beautifully decorated Christmas tree and entry way Heather had taken the time to provide during the Christmas season just added such blissfulness to the atmosphere. I'm thinking this just might become a family tradition (for the girls anyway, ha)! Thanks, Heather!

Amazing First Trip to Savannah!

My boyfriend and I made our first venture to Savannah, GA and wanted to stay somewhere that embraced the feel of the city, instead of a hotel room that looks the same inside no matter what city you are in. This condo did just that! The accommodations were perfect and the location is amazing! We never got in our car once we parked and yet we were able to see everything. It was a very short walk to all of the squares and parks, the City Market, River Street, etc...we will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Savannah! (Plus Heather makes the greatest food recommendations...the Olde Pink House & 17hundred90 were perfect!!)

I stayed here with two girlfriends for two nights. Heather has thought of everything! Feather bed for the pullout couch, wine glasses, movies, ipod dock, etc. Having somewhere clean, cool, and comfortable to come back to made our Savannah experience that much better. It was so nice to be greeted by Heather, who has an awesome map of the City showing the good restaurants, etc. If there was one downside to the apt is it's not right off of a square, but I can hardly complain since it's only a 5 minute walk to one. I love this place and would definitely stay here again when I come back!!

We stayed here after a busy wedding weekend in Atlanta. This was a perfect location to the sights of Savannah. Easy stroll to shopping, restaurants, historical sites. The apartment is such a respite from a day of sight seeing. Its immaculate, coordinated and offers everything and more you could ever hope for. I wanted to pack it up and take it home. Wonderful design. You cant go wrong staying here.

We stayed here for our honeymoon in July 2011. The location was excellent--right in the middle of the sites we wanted to visit. We were able to easily walk everywhere in the historic district. We loved the decor and that the owners left nice touches, like the delicious cheese and crackers and aromatherapy shampoo and conditioner. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The Best Honeymoon Escape

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in July. The suite is beautifully decorated and the owners thought of every possible detail. There was a basket for the beach, cold beverages in the fridge, DVD's to watch in the evening and very clean. It was a comfortable and romantic setting for our honeymoon. It is within walking distance to almost anything in the historic district. We even had a carriage ride drop us off at the front door. We will definitely be back. We fell in love with the house and Savannah.

Our first time in Savannah-what a great way to spend the week at Heather's condo-it was nothing short of AWESOME-her attention to detail was everywhere-loved the furnishings,well-stocked kitchen-even wine and cheese on our arrival-the luxurious bedding was great to jump into after a very busy day as a tourist-she had lists of suggestions available to us for sightseeing that was so helpful (Mrs. Wilkes is a "must" to enjoy southern food) she greeted us at the door when we arrived and checked-in with us through-out our stay-there's no doubt we'll ALWAYS stay here on our next trip to Savannah-might even bring out husbands next time-hee

Disappointed

When I looked at this place on line it looked like the perfect place. We had never stayed at a VRBO before and thought we would give it a try. The pictures are a little deceiving. Yes it does look like that, but somewhat different in real life. It was dirty. Can't say anything other than that. Dirt is dirt. The bed was clean and the bath tub was clean also. My husband saw things on the couch that we don't want to talk about. We put a blanket over it. Sorry Heather, but maybe you need to hire a new cleaning service.

I wish that if you felt unsatisfied for any reason, you would have contacted me during your stay so that I could have had the opportunity to address any issues immediately. It is especially frustrating that you did not contact me during your stay - as after your post I immediately checked the sofa and could not find any evidence of spills or other issues in the home. I have been hosting guests for over four years and I must say this is the first time I have ever had a disappointed guest. I own this home and oversee every aspect of my guest experience myself; from making sure the home is thoroughly cleaned for each guest stay, to meeting all my guests for a personal check in on arrival. I honestly feel that we provide exceptional service and accommodations (as noted in our many other reviews) to our guests and trust that future guests will continue to post and praise the accommodations with outstanding approval.

We have stayed here twice in the last 14 months, and I can't wait to return in the future! This is the perfect place for a romantic getaway! Everything about this home is first class. The owners have thought of everything, and it is exactly as described! The decor is beautiful, the bedding is luxurious, and the soaking tub is so relaxing! It is also extremely dog friendly which is a must for us. Close enough to everything, yet away from the hustle-bustle! Highly recommend breakfast outside at J Christopher's if you have a dog, and SoHo's for lunch! Pizza at Vinnie Van Go-Go's too. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This was our second time staying here and there is nothing better in Savannah! We have been to Savannah many times and staying at Heather's Pied a Terre is like home away from home. Stayed at the Pied-à-terre recently with my wife and 1 year old daughter and could not have been happier. The place is beautifully decorated and has everything you could want or need. We were excited to stay at the Pied-a-terre based on the photos and description we'd seen online. But this place exceeded our expectations! We found Suite I to have everything we needed and things we hadn't even thought of (beach towels, a blanket, frisbee, sunscreen, etc.). We felt right at home! It is nice to stay someplace that doesn't feel so temporary, the way so many rentals and hotels do. The location is perfect as well - situated in close proximity to several restaurants without being in the most congested and noisy areas. We walked most everywhere and loved it! I would highly recommend Suite I.

We just returned from a fabulous time in Savannah.I'd say our great time had a lot to do w/ our excellent accomodations. Heather's home is posh and comfortable at the same time. You literally only need to bring your clothes and toothbrush. From the nice and ultra comfy bed/linens to the extra large tub complete with an assortment of spa-type shampoos, lotions,and soaps(We greatly appreciated the quality of these items. No additives, chemicals, dyes, natural ingredients)there is absolutely nothing you need!! The kitchen is nicely stocked w/water, condiments, cleaning needs,proper cookware(not someone's beat up old stuff) Nothing is overlooked here. Parking right out front and you are a 5 min walk to River St or 6 min to Forsythe Park. There is also a wealth of info (restaurant menus,tour brocheurs, books on Savannah. etc) We look forward to returning. Why would anyone stay in a hotel??? TOP NOTCH!!

My husband was absolutely “blown away” when we arrived at your wonderful place (suite I). An oasis of soothing, modern style surrounded by historical beauty! The suite is just gorgeous with impressive attention to detail. Heather, Thank you so much for the wonderful Pied-a-Terre. We echo the past accolades of the place. It is always somewhat concerning to select accomodations via the net, but it is wonderful to be pleasantly surprised, as we were more than pleased! You have truly thought of every need and we felt so welcome - like visiting a friend. We plan to make this a regular stop when in Savannah. All the extra touches were noticed and appreciated.

Tom and I waited over 40 years to marry that special love, so you can only imagine how wonderful we wanted our Honeymoon to be! Savannah and the Pied-a-Terre was everything we dreamed of, plus more!
