A nature preserve, Amberjack Environmental Park, borders the rear of the resort. Don Pedro Island State Park and the Intracoastal Waterway is across the street from the resort.

We had a very pleasant 16 night stay in this unit. Having rented at Cape Haze Resort before we knew we'd enjoy the pool, the fitness center and the attractive and impeccably maintained grounds, but the interior of the condo was a question mark. Some of the units we've rented over the years have been poorly equipped and unattractively decorated, so we were thrilled to find this gorgeous condo which was amply supplied with high quality towels, linens and kitchen gear. We plan to return!Recommended for: Girls getaway, people with disabilities, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

We really enjoyed staying at your condo for three weeks. Everything was exactly as described. Your fishing and kayak recommendations were great. I was able to kayak Coral Creek, Oyster Creek and Gasparilla Sound. Caught some nice fish with the fishing guide and even got out the the golf course. About the owner: My wife and I own a unit at Cape Haze Resort and do online marketing for 24 private owners on the Cape Haze Peninsula. We love the Cape Haze Peninsula, Palm Island, and Boca Grande Island and are happy to provide you with any recommendations even if you are not booking with us. As avid backwater fishermen, we will gladly 'hook you up' with one of several local 'catch and release' fishing captains with whom we have fished with personally. Kathy enjoys hiking the many trails, walking the beaches and hanging out at the pool. Our son Bobby spends free time kayaking the many tributaries of Charlotte Harbor and Lemon Bay.
Why the Owner Chose Cape Haze:
We vacationed on Palm Island, across from Cape Haze Resort for more than 25 years. Our kids 'grew up' loving the gulf beaches and the Charlotte Harbor area. This is a quiet and peaceful area where the rich and famous have their hidaways. A busy day is walking the beach, collecting shells, maybe some fishing or boating, then back to the pool.
