Ko Olina, 'Place of Joy', is the premier resort on Oahu. Located within easy driving distance to Waikiki, Honolulu and the famous North Shore, this paradise feels a world away. Once used as the playground for Hawaiian royalty, you can now relax in true Hawaiian style in our newly furnished Coconut Plantation home.
Every amenity is here. The master suite features a queen-size bed, dresser, lcd/flat panel TV, large wardrobe, oversized shower, dual sinks, separate toilet area and direct access to the large lanai. The second bedroom also has a queen-size bed, mirrored wardrobe, dresser and sliders that open to a private balcony. The den or third bedroom features two twin beds and a dresser.
The main living area easily accommodates 6 adults for cooking, dining and relaxing. Granite counters accent the convenience-filled kitchen, rich mahogany wood tones grace the dining area and the large living room features a sectional, two chairs, plenty of lighting, a flat panel/lcd television with cable, dvd player, and cd system. Tropical style ceiling fans are found in the living room as well as all sleeping areas. A convenient work area is located in the hallway. WiFi is included. The large, covered lanai (with access from both the master and the main dining area) features a large patio set with padded seating, a propane grill, and a view of the palm-edged pathways.

6 of us stayed in this condo and we found that the layout accommodated us with no problems. The deck is big and in the shade for the hottest part of the day. We loved being the barbecue and the proximity to shopping. This unit is in a good location. There is easy access to the lagoons which are beautiful and wonderful for swimming. The unit itself is older but reasonably well- maintained. The listing was accurate. All linens, pool toys, dishes etc. are supplied, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the surroundings. I would not hesitate to recommend this condo to friends.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We arrived in Hawaii the day you left (4/30/13) and spent the next two weeks making improvements and changes to the property. It's been our first opportunity as the home was booked almost entirely for the last twelve months, and we hate to have our clients disturbed during their vacation unless it's an emergency. Fresh paint, some new furnishings and kitchen items, the addition of a laptop-friendly workspace in the hall, and a thorough reorganization of the garage and storage areas will hopefully help future clients enjoy their stay even more. Ko Olina is the perfect location from which to explore all of Oahu. We love spending time on the North Shore beaches, grabbing lunch from the 'shrimp truck' or Cholos, and returning home to watch the sunset on our own shore at the first lagoon. It is breathtaking!
