Tropical colors and a musical theme await you in this large multi-level two-bedroom, two-bath stilt home on a sheltered ocean-side canal, just minutes from open water. Located in the quiet and serene neighborhood of Breezeswept Beach Estates, yet close to the beaches of Bahia Honda State Park (about 8 miles), the famous reefs of Looe Key Marine Sanctuary (8 miles by boat) and halfway between Marathon and Key West (25 miles). Easy boating access (3 foot minimum) from the 40-foot wooden dock to the open ocean (no bridges) and back country. Protected wetlands for walks and bird watching are in easy bicycling distance, as are boat ramp, dive shop, convenience store, and two great bars.
The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a bathroom with shower and soaker tub, the second bedroom suite (one floor up, with associated bath, balcony and great views of the sunrise over open water) has two extra long twin beds that can be combined into another king. After having spent time on the water, enjoy staying in your home-away-from-home: relax at the bar, play the piano in the main room with its 21-foot cathedral ceiling, soak in the hot tub on the screened-in porch and enjoy the palm trees at coconut-level, or – if you have energy left – work out on the loft (or just stare out to sea).
