This is by far one of the largest units in Hi Country. It has a great layout and an awesome kitchen.
You will love vacationing here. The large kitchen with all new/stainless appliances and convection oven for all those cooks. The accomodating family room fits lots of people, has a huge moss rock fireplace, and glass doors off a private deck with views of wildlife and sledding hill.

We really enjoy the comfort of our second home. It sleeps eight in beds and one on a pull-out mattress. The living space is big, so everyone has plenty of room. This one of the largest units in Hi Country Haus. Kids can sled right off the back deck on the sledding hill. Cook in the great kitchen and eat on our family table. We leave all condiments and the pantry packed with essentials.
Best of all, you can walk to everything in downtown Winter Park, shopping, restaurants, and night-life. You will be happy you stayed in one of the most convenient areas in Winter Park, because it is the most fun and also FAR away from the coal trains!

Why the Owner Chose Hi Country Haus
Winter Park, CO gets some of the best and most snow in the Rockies and it is only a short 1 1/2 drive from Denver and Denver International Airport. We used to do the commute every weekend, because it is so close. Another factor in buying in WP is that once you get to the condo, you can leave your car parked and use the shuttle to get to the mountain, and the stop is at the bottom of the stairs! The prices for things like groceries, gas and even restaurants do not carry the high price tag of the other resorts. We also, use the condo in the Summer as the Colorado River is nearby as well as Rocky Mountain Natl. Park and 3 Lakes. Not to mention the horseback riding, rafting and MANY mountain biking trails nearby.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Working with the people we get from VRBO, has always been a pleasure, and we keep the condo like our renters are our friends or family. We really enjoy the positive feedback! We keep the pantry fully stocked, and it has a gourmet kitchen. The shuttle stop is right at the bottom of stairs, so no more parking trouble at the mountain. Fraser has a great supermarket, and is only a very short distance away. You can walk to town, restaurants, and shopping. The resort has had a facelift that includes a new village, ice skating, and a new gondola.

We always dreamed of getting a family owned condo in Winter Park, CO. 3 Years ago we finally did it! At the height of the real estate game, but hey, we have no regrets. The entire family lives in Denver and hail from San Antonio, and Chicago. We are all together now, and it sure is fun! Even with everybody here, we soon found that we could not be there all the time, so we decided to rent it. We enjoy it year round and now so can you!

We had a wonderful time at this condo in Aug. It is very nicely decorated and very comforable for the family. The kitchen was more than well stocked for all of our needs. There is also a closet with board games that we loved to play together. We rented another unit as well in the same building for our large group. This unit is by far much roomyer and nicer. So great to have a washer and dryer in the unit. Location can't be beat. In the complex is it so close to the rec center and playground. Also very easy walk to all the great things in town. Really enjoyed the local bike trails. Winter Park had lots of fun things for the kids to do and music festivles for the bigger kids. Owner was very easy to deal with and helpful. Overall couldn't be more pleased!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers.

I have nothing but positive things to say about the condo. All 6 of us (3 couples) enjoyed our stay here. Everything was very close to the condo. There's a Safeway a couple miles down the road. The kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and overall the condo was very spacious! Thanks for a great place for us to stay!

We loved this condo! It was so convienient to be on the ski shuttle and have a sledding hill in our "back yard". The furnishings were brand new and beautiful. Nine of us stayed in the condo, and the living and eating areas as well as the kitchen had plenty of room. Wonderful, brand new kitchen - it was stocked better than my kitchen at home! All in all, a great vacation spot.
