We loved our month long stay at the "Days by the Sea" The time passed too fast for us. Our accomodations were fabulous and our hosts, Terry and Jenni were wonderful and accomodating. This is a very special place and we will be going back many times!!

My only regret is that my review is so good that i'll never be able to get get back in here because the place will always be booked. The 2 bedroom is super comfortable, well laid out, equipped far beyond what you'd ever expect(2 sets of golf clubs in the closet !) Terry gives the place the feel of a Bahamas B&B (although you have to make your own breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen, or walk 5 minutes to the really good Bagel place.) He's super helpful and genuinely friendly. My wife,2 kids and sister had a great time at a price well below what you'd pay for a mediocre at best hotel room.

Great location and layout. We were surprised to find only few people at the beach - private entry does its magic. Prepare to walk through the dunes :) and don't forget fishing rods - we caught a big blower fish right in the park. Very quiet place and great for kids. One of the few places in Ft Lauderdale area where you don't have to worry about the waves. You actually get to swim on two beaches - ocean side and bay (canal) side. As to the actual unit - everything was according to description, very clean, well maintained and comfortable. We had two kids and private pool was very handy. Owners were very helpful in providing us with everything we needed during the stay and giving us some good tips about local amenities. Thank you Terri and Jenny! Kosta and Marina

I took my parents, wife and daughter for a four day Christmas weekend to South Florida for our first time. Terry and Jenni are amazing hosts! Truly wonderful people. Beautiful place, 4 minute scenic walk to a beautiful oceanfront private beach. All five of us left happy without any complaint. It truly was home away from home. Thanks again, Terry and Jenni!

Thank you Terry for a great stay in August. From the wine and Godiva chocolates to the Devonshire double cream your hospitality and friendliness are unmatched. We had a great stay with the pool right outside our door and the private beach access between a row of mansions the location is unsurpassed. The unit is very well equipped with all the amenties of home. Although we are pretty familiar with the local area your tips were welcomed and most helpful. We would highly recommend you to anyone and hope we can make it back. P.S. we got home to find we had no damage from Irene and we only lost power for 4 minutes.

My family really enjoyed our stay at the property. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Terry who was very nice. The place was clean and had everything we needed during our stay (even a wagon to help cart the beach supplies). The rental was spacious enough for 2 adults and 3 kids. They even accomodated our 1 yr old with a crib and a highchair. A five minute walk through some mansions led to a very nice private beach. The Hillsboro Lighthouse nearby added to the scenery at the beach. We snapped a ton of great photos of the kids with the beach and lighthouse in the background. The swimming pool right outside our door was also very convenient. We were able to watch our 2 older kids play in the pool while our little one took a nap inside. The kids really enjoyed the clean pool every chance they had. But what put this place over the top was the owners Terry and Jenny. They shared many things with our family during our stay. We enjoyed the wine they provided, they surprised us with some tasty Godiva chocolates, shared yummy stuffed shrimp that they had purchased from the market, and even shared Terry's birthday ice cream cake that Jenny served poolside for us. How cool is that?!?!?!? Terry and Jenny are very nice and caring (Terry is a bit funny too). We will be looking to stay here again the next time we plan a visit to the area. Thank you Jenny and Terry.

We stumbled upon this ad in our search for a place to stay for our last minute vacation. We couldn't have picked a better place! Terry was very hospitable, the apartment was clean and had all the comforts of home and was plenty big for the 4 of us. I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone, especially families!

We truely enjoyed our time at this precious little space on the Beach. Everything you want is there and it is kept up beautifully. The pool is extremely nice and the beach is special because of it's location near the lighthouse and the security gate to get on. Nice clear water and sand. Terry and Jenny are terrific hosts and very accommodating. Will definitely use again when we return.

My family and I just returned from our stay at Days by the Sea, we spent 2 glorious weeks there. We are a family of 4 with 2 small children Terry & Jenni were there to greet us when we arrived and showed us around the place. The accommodations were exactly what we had needed and wanted. The rooms were a great size, the kitchen was fully stocked and the washer/dryer in the unit were such a big help. Terry had provided us with toys for the kids and we had a wagon for the 5 minute walk to the beach. The area is beautiful, the private beach is great, no feeling of people sitting on top of you. The pool right outside the front door was perfect for the kids and there is also a grill right on the deckside for BBQ's. Our back deck provided privacy when we wanted it. We had a great time and are looking forward to booking for next year, we will DEFINITELY be going back!

For several years our 2 families have been traveling to Florida over the Christmas / New Year Holiday. In total we have 4 children, ages ranging from 8 to 13. We have had various accommodations, but none compare to these: Everything we had read prior to our stay was represented accurately. In fact our expectations were exceeded. The accommodations were great. The units were roomy and well put together and our units were right next door to each other, which was convenient. Terry and Jennifer were not only helpful in recommending places to go, day trips and restaurants, they also called in a few favors and saved us some money. They were flexible with visitors, awesome hosts and just wonderful people. They really focus on the little things and special touches. When we checked in there was a box of chocolates and a bottle of wine in each of our units and this is the first time we have had a Christmas tree in our unit - just to mention a few things that we were surprised by. We truly enjoyed our stay at Days by the Sea and would recommend to anyone vacationing in the Pompano Beach area!

Thank you very much Terry and Jenny for their hospitality and the quality and comfort of their property. We were 4 girls golf trip for a week and we werw filled. In addition to findinf everything we needed in the apartment, we enjoyed the poll and the beach, wich by the way, is beautiful. As highway 95 is nearby (about 10 min.), we had easy access ti various golf courses we had chosen and the north and south of Pompano. In short, It's a very nice place with firends or family. I highly recommend Days bye the sea apartments.

Our family had the pleasure of saying a Days by the Sea for a week in October. Terry and Jennie were AMAZING hosts. If we had any questions on the area or what to do they had suggestions and great advice. Our condo was IMMACULATE and truly a home away from home. The neighborhood was so peaceful, beautiful and safe. We had great access to a beautiful beach. All in all we had a wonderful time and look forward to returning to visit Terry and Jenni many times in the future!

Our family stayed at Days By The Sea for a week and no one wanted to leave. Terry & Jenni are the best! We have never been treated this good at any hotel!! Everything you need is there and if not Terry or Jenni will let you know where you can get it. We loved the short walk to the beach and having the pool right outside the door was great also. We will stay here again. We have already told all our friends and family about this great place and about how wonderful Terry and Jenni are.

Beautiful, Ouiet Location

We recently visited "Days By the Sea" for a week long vacation. The condo was very comfortable and Terry and Jenni made us fell very much at home. We loved the short walk through the beautiful tree-lined street to the clean,warm, blue ocean. Traveling with a 5 year old, is at times challenging, but between the beach, the nearby playground/ park, and the pool he was always entertained. I am a single parent and at all times felt very safe in the Pompano Beach area and especially within the condo neighborhood. The condo is furnished in a comfy " beachy" style. Having a washer and dryer available (along with detergent and fabric softener) was a wonderful bonus. The condo is furnished with a T.V. in each bedroom as well as the livingroom. In addition, there were plenty of linens, extra blankets/pillows, and beach towels available. The kitchen was pleasantly "stocked" with working appliances (although they could be updated), kitchen tools, and dinnerware. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and spoke with Jenni about staying for an extended time next summer. We can't wait to return again soon! Thanks so much Terry and Jenni for everything!

My husband, Myself and another couple just returned from Days By the Sea last week after a two week vacation and already wish we were back. The owners, Terry and Jenni are excellent. The apartments have everything you would ever require on a vacation...and if they dont have what you are looking for Terry and Jenni will do their very best to get for you. The apartments are very comfortable,clean and in a very nice neighbourhood. I would highly recommend accomodations, Great pool and very close to the beach. Cant wait to return some day.

Wonderful Hosts, Great Location

Our family of four enjoyed a wonderful stay at "Days by the Sea". Terri and Jenni are the most gracious hosts you will find. The apartment was immaculate; and every amenity imagined was available for us. Having Terri and Jenni there was like having our own personal concierge service and greatly added to the enjoyment of our trip. They saved us time and money by recommending local restaurants and attractions (even gave us coupons that they clipped for us!) that they knew our family would enjoy. We have two children ( 9 and 5) and they thoroughly enjoyed the pool as well as the beach which was within short walking distance. On a rainy day; Jenni took the time to make cupcakes for the children and let them decorate for something fun to pass the time. The personal touch that Terri and Jenni provide is unlike any other vacation we've experienced. They are just wonderful people! We hope to visit again! Miss you both!

We visited Pompano March 29-April 4, 2010. This location is very convenient to all of the public beaches or you can just take a short walk to the private beach. Terry and Jenny were great hosts and are always there to assist you. We would definitely go back!

This place is just perfect! It has a great location, beautiful and quiet! It's very clean and well maintained! Terry and Jenny, the owners are so kind and helpful. We fell in love with this beautiful place the first minute we got there. Our apartment was sunny, beautifully furnished and welcomingly decorated.The rental is equipped with everything you might need from nail polish remover to tasty coffee. The short walk to the private beach led through a safe neighborhood. Terry and Jenny our hosts did everything possible to make our stay perfect. Next time we go to Florida we won't stay anywhere else because we're too spoiled now.

We really enjoyed our vacation to Pompano Beach in March. Our granddaughter wanted to go to the beach instead of Disney World! She had the best time gathering shells on the private beach and loved the swimming pool right outside our door. Terry and Jenni, your thoughtfulness shows in everything you do. We recently got back from a week stay at Days By the Sea. Jenni and Terry were very nice and willing to offer their recommendations. They also provide everything that you need and are right on location. The apartment was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. There was a beautiful short walk to the private beach through an upscale neighborhood dotted with mansions. Being able to walk to the beach, have access to a pool and still be in a semi-private home is a huge plus w/o having to pay waterfront prices! And there's no fighting for a spot on the sand or under the fresh water shower!

Okay. I can let the secret out now. We have stayed at Days By The Sea 6 times now. We have become great friends with the best hosts I have ever met, Terry & Jenni. Terry asked me why I never commented on the web site and I explained that if I did, I was afraid he would book up and I wouldn't be able to get in. As is turns out, I wasn't able to get in last February. I would never stay anywhere else. The accomodations are perfect! Extremely clean and comfortable. The beach is so close and the neighborhood is beautiful. I can't say enough about this diamond in the rough! Thanks so much!

We just came back from staying 10 days in Pompano. After searching through VRBO we decide for this property. If you are looking for a place that worths your money is this one. April 2009 We just returned from a week long visit in Pompano Beach. We've visited this area several times and this rental was a wonderful find. Both Terry and Jenni are wonderful and it was a pleasure visiting with you both. We loved having the pool & grill outside our door and the walk to the beach is so easy. We appreciated all the goodies in the refrig. & cupboards and all the extra towels ~ all very nice. We like scuba diving (just around the corner is Hillsboro Inlet) and golfing (tons of choices) and we can't say enough good about the location and the units. Thank you for being warm generous hosts...we'll be back with our friends!

We visited this lovely rental for a long Mother's Day weekend. The unit was so cozy, clean and comfortable. We had everything we could possibly ask for. My wife and I along with my sister and her husband rented this property for a week in January 2008. We also rent vacation property using The VRBO site and understand the importance of positive experiences and feedback. I can tell you if your looking for a nice experience this would be it. Terry and Jenni are wonderful people and became fast friends right away. The accomadations were great, very tastefully decorated (thanks to Jenni, sorry Terry). Beds were comfortable which is huge for us. The pool area is open to the other three units. We were lucky and had the whole thing to ourselves. Terry and Jenni were always close by to ask questions,get directions,that sort of thing. Again above and beyond for us. Jenni set up our golf tee times which was great. One less thing we had to deal with. The beach is a short walk and we found it a great place to lounge. Not alot of people on our end. Easy to get around the area. We all gave our stay a big thumbs up.

The greeting we received from Terry & Jenni made us feel right at home. What GREAT people and a wonderful place they run. Anything we asked about or for was immediately taken care of. The Days By The Sea Villa was very clean and had anything and everything you needed including a swimming pool. Gotta love the swimming in January thing when Iowa is in a deep freeze. The area is perfect with the beach a nice 5 minute walk, restaurants, shopping, grocery, golfing & charter services are all nearby. 30 to 45 minutes away from the airport and only a few minutes from Fort Lauderdale. We took a nighttime ride down the intercostals on a water taxi (a for sure recommendation). The seafood in the area is to die for (WHALES RIB, yeah buddy!!!!). We had a great, great, great time and cannot wait until we do it again. We will be back, this will be neat! Bringing our friends so they may meet! Terry & Jenni, who are glad to greet! We had the good fortune to discover these comfortable, well appointed and well maintained apartments last summer and we returned for a second stay last week. The building is a short walk from the beach located just south of the Hillsboro Inlet - a beautiful and uncrowded area. The units are immaculate and the kitchen is stocked with coffee and several useful items in the refridgerator. The hosts, Terry and Jenni, are wonderful and very focused on ensuring that their guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. After only two visits we had the feeling that we were staying with long-time friends. We recommend these apartments to anyone planning to stay in the Pompano Beach area.

My family and I spent one week in the corner unit of Mr. Day's vacation homes. The place was very clean with all amenities. Having the pool right outside my door made it very convenient to keep an eye on the kids. We even had friends over and had a barbecue on the brand new barbecue! My week there was so relaxing and I would definately go back in an instant (wish I were there right now!) Mr. Terry Day was very friendly and made us feel like family and he was very accomodating. My son Paul and I were in flight school at Pompano Beach Airpark in January and February '07, and our first night there we checked into a local hotel (boy what a mistake). The next day at lunch we found Terry and Jennifer, who absolutely made us feel like family. The place is everything the pictures and comments portray it to be, so don't even think twice about it, pick up the phone and call them right now. Did I mention that their 2BR rental units cost less than 2 hotel rooms?

MY HUSBAND, 2 FRIENDS AND I WERE FORTUNATE TO HAVE FOUND THIS UNIT TO RENT FROM FEB. 24TH THROUGH MAR. 3RD, 2007. UPON ARRIVAL, WE WERE GREETED BY JENNIFER, WHO SHOWED US INTO THE UNIT. SHE HAD PLACED FRESH FLOWERS AND HAD A CANDLE BURNING, WHICH REALLY GAVE THE PLACE A WARM AND HOMEY FEELING. THE UNIT WAS ONE OF THE CLEANEST AND SPACIOUS PLACES WE HAVE HAD THE ENJOYMENT OF STAYING IN. NOT ONCE DID WE, 4 ADULTS, EVER FEEL CROWDED INTO OR PRESSED FOR SPACE. THE FAMILIES THAT HAD RENTED THE OTHER UNITS WERE VERY NICE, AND, WE NEVER FELT CROWDED OUTSIDE OR AROUND THE POOL OR PATIO AREA. WHILE THERE, WE WALKED DOWN THE BEACH TO THE TIKI BARS THAT WERE AT THE HOTELS & ENJOYED THEIR FOODS, DRINKS AND ATMOSPHERES. WE ALSO DROVE UP TO DEERFIELD BEACH (PROBABLY 5 MILES AWAY) TO ENJOY SOME OF THE SAME. DEERFIELD HAS A BEAUTIFUL PIER TO WALK, AND, YOU CAN ALMOST STAND RIGHT NEXT TO THE BIG BIRDS AND HAVE YOUR PICTURE TAKEN. NOW, BACK TO THE UNIT. YOU CAN BE CERTAIN, THAT, IF WE GO BACK TO POMPANO BEACH NEXT YEAR WE WILL DEFINETELY RENT THE SAME UNIT. TERRY AND JENNIFER ARE TWO OF THE NICEST PEOPLE WE HAVE EVER MET. THEY BOTH HAVE THE KNACK OF MAKING YOU FEEL RIGHT AT HOME, IN THEIR (RENTAL) HOME! IF WE CHANGE OUR DESTINATION NEXT YEAR, MAYBE WE'LL BE LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE TERRY BUY ANOTHER UNIT IN THAT DESTINATION AND WE'LL RENT FROM HIM AGAIN!! HINT, HINT, TERRY. TAKE IT FROM US, IF YOU RENT THIS UNIT, YOU WON'T REGRET IT AND YOU'LL GET TO KNOW 2 OF THE NICEST PEOPLE AROUND. MY HUSBAND, TWO FRIENDS & I WERE FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO HAVE RENTED ONE OF THE UNITS THAT WAS AVAILIABLE FROM FEB. 24TH THROUGH MAR. 3RD, 2007. OUR UNIT WAS ONE OF THE CLEANEST AND SPACIOUS PLACES THAT WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN FOR THE PRICE - WHICH WAS VERY GOOD. WHEN JENNIFER BROUGHT US INTO THE UNIT TO SHOW US AROUND, THERE WERE FRESH FLOWERS & A CANDLE BURNING, WHICH REALLY MADE THE PLACE SEEM HOMEY & WELCOMING. TERRY & JENNIFER ARE TWO OF THE MOST DOWN-TO-EARTH, FRIENDLY PEOPLE WE HAVE EVER MET, AND, YOU CAN REST ASSURED THAT IF WE GO TO POMPANO BEACH AGAIN, WE WOULDN'T STAY ANYPLACE ELSE BUT AT THE SAME PROPERTY. wHILE WE WERE THERE, WE WALKED DOWN THE BEACH TO THE TIKI BARS AND RESTAURANTS THAT ARE NEARBY (GOOD FOOD, DRINKS & HAPPY ATMOSPHERES). WE ALSO DROVE UP TO BEAUTIFUL DEERFIELD BEACH (PROBABLY ABOUT 5 MILES AWAY)TO SHOP, WALK THE PIER & ENJOY THEIR BEACH. AS I SAID, RENTING FROM TERRY (AND JENNIFER) WAS AN ABSOLUTE PLEASURE (AS IT WILL BE FOR YOU, HOPEFULLY) AND IT IS SOMETHING WE WOULD (AND WILL) DO AGAIN. IF WE CHANGE OUR DESTINATION NEXT YEAR, MAYBE WE'LL BE ABLE TO TALK TERRY INTO GETTING ANOTHER RENTAL PROPERTY SO WE CAN RENT FROM HIM AGAIN. WE HAD AN ABSOLUTE BALL THERE. P.S. THE OTHER FAMILIES THAT HAD RENTED AT THE SAME TIME AS US WERE GREAT, AND, NOBODY GOT IN EACH OTHERS WAY, EITHER IN, OUT OR AROUND THE POOL.TRY IT, YOU'LL LOVE IT!!! We are a family of six who stayed over during the 2006-2007 Christmas and New Years holidays. The condo was impecably clean, and very comfortable with all the necessary emmenities. Mr Day friendly greeting made us right away very comfortable. The condo became our home. The beach is a short walking distance from the condo and there is a dive charter nearby. Groceries and restaurants are about 10 minutes away on US 1 by car.If you want peace and quiet, this is an excellent location.
