This is a boater's dream; just off Collier Bay and minutes to the Gulf of Mexico, this beautiful home w/ high ceilings, newly remodeled, has a great location. You can walk to Marco River marina for boat trips to the Florida Keys, or just buying bait for fishing off the dock. There are many restaurants, pubs, and shops within walking distance, and some renters walk to the beach.
This property is in very upscale neighborhood and is direct access (no bridges to go under to get to the Gulf). There is great fishing off the dock, and a heated pool for swimming. Beautiful home, and great location for a holiday in "Paradise".
The home has volume ceilings with plant shelves, custom cabinets and granite countertops in the kitchen. The master bedroom has a king size bed, and the bath has a jacuzzi tub and 2 vanities. The other two guest bedrooms have a king bed, and 2 twins (one is a trundle bed with a third twin mattress). The pool is heated and has a view of Collier Bay, which is only minutes to open water in the Gulf of Mexico.
You can walk to the Marco River Marina where there are fishing boats for back water fishing, as well as off shore fishing. In season there is a hydroboat that commutes to Key West and returns the same day, or you can contract to stay longer. Naples and its beautiful shopping area is only 30 minutes away, and the airboats and trails of the Everglades is very near.
You are only 4 hours drive to Disney World, or the Space Center, and an hour and a half to some of the best diving areas in the Keys. The sugar-white sand beaches of Marco will make it difficult to want to leave for other destinations, and we are rated in the top "10" in the world. For a greater variety of shells, Kite Island can be found by charter boats, and you can see not only some of the best shells in Florida, but households eroding into the Gulf. |
