Why the Owner Chose Ocean Beach
It is great to be able to go out the door, hop in the car, and be at the beach in five minutes, the cliffs in ten minutes, or downtown San Diego (and Petco Park, the Gaslamp District) in fifteen minutes! Other than that, we chose to furnish the unit with an antique decor, using real antiques, hardwood floors, and a canopy bed. Pets really enjoy here too, as there is a dog park and dog beach nearby--both within a 10 minute drive.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
The facility we chose is great because it has awesome facilities: heated pool and spa, lighted tennis courts, indoor sauna, fitness and weight rooms. Also, it is very verdant as the property was acquired back in 1969 and they planted trees everywhere! The grounds are very well kept, with full time staff tending to the needs of the plants and facilities.
The best beach in California! This beach has plenty of sand to sunbathe on, swim and body surf area, three different surf zones, volley ball areas, the longest pier on the CA coast, and a dog beach!
It is located just across the water, maybe five minutes away. In fact, almost every summer night at 9 PM or so, we can go out onto the grass and watch the fireworks!

We love where we live in San Diego. Close enough to be at the beach in five minutes, or if we are feeling more like being in a private place, we can drive down to the cliffs in ten! San Diego is great for an active lifestyle like ours, swimming, sunbathing, surfing and more.
