This special home has five bedroom, two bath home off Cascade Beach Road. This private, tastefully furnished home was built for family and friends to gather.
A beautiful get-away retreat for family and friends on one of the most beautiful beaches on Lake Superior. You will never run out of things to do or see - no matter what the weather.
When you feel its time for you or your family to step back or become one and need some place to get away to from our busy worlds, this is one of those places if you want it to be.
Seven Miles from Lutsen Mountain - a premiere ski hill and cross country trails. The summer months offer hiking, salmon fishing, lake fishing, sightseeing of many different types of wildlife abound. Excellent shopping and restaurants in Grand Marias which is only 12 miles north of there.

The home was exactly as advertised. We were very pleased with the amount of space and the rooms were very nice. The kitchen was well stocked with most things we needed. We were able to watch movies on cold rainy days and enjoyed many bonfires by the shore. We were there with 6 adults and 4 children and we had a great time. We looked for rocks and stepped in to the stream down the beach. We would definetely recommend eating at Sven and Ole's Pizza in Grand Marais. The grocery store is quite small and of course prices are high, so if you like to eat particular things you may want to bring them with you.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The location of this property was accurate. It is half way between Tofte and Grand Marais. The photos of the inside of the house were accurate. I would not describe it as a luxury home, but it has 5 bedrooms and would be good for large families or couples to share. I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the home. It was very dusty and when the furnace was on, it was difficult to breath. The kitchen appliances did not include directions and some of the items had been used and not cleaned well and replaced in the cabinets. We called the owner to express our concerns, and he was not interested in listening or offering any kind of help or solutions to resolve them. We left 4 days early. I would not recommend this to a friend or family unless some of the issues were resolved. It would be better in the summer, as the windows could be open. If you like to ski, it is 7 miles from Lutsen mountain. There is a book in the house that provides many options of things to do in the area.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+.

We had 5 couples up for a ski weekend in Lutsen. We found this place as it was large enough for us all and reasonably priced. We loved it! There was a fire in the fireplace all weekend (thanks for the wood), many walks down by the lake, and lots of fun playing games and cards. The waves could be inside the house and we came away feeling intensely relaxed. We even had deer buddies every day. Well stocked kitchen was great too. Thanks for a great long weekend.

Just returned from a long weekend at Namaste. The name befits this welcoming place. There was plenty of room for our growing family and we enjoyed coffee on the deck, walks on the beach, and a fire each night. Thank you for sharing your home. We hope to be back next year.

Namaste is our new favorite place to stay up north. There are so many wonderful places to sit and enjoy the scenery on this spacious piece of property. The house was a pleasant surprise to see that it was much cozier than pictured. I'll be scheduling my women's group this winter!
