  My wife and I and our two adult children stayed in Vanessa's penthouse apartment for 6 nights, and could have stayed much longer. It was very well furnished, well taken care of, and absolutely beautiful. While the weather was hot, we opened our windows and the wind kept the apartment cool. The view and the water were just like the pictures. Vanessa was very responsive to questions, and returned our security deposit promptly. This is a great bargain. My only suggestion: give better directions. Turn left from Route 3 just past kilometer 36, then take first left and first right into Playa Azul, Tower 3.

  Just return from our trip to Puerto Rico. The apartment is well equipped, has everything you will need for staying and fixing a quick bite. The washer/dryer made it so much easy for a beach vacation. The complex ground is well maintained, the pool is nice and clean, very refreshing after a hiking in the rain forest or returning from the beach. This is the first time we did not stay in hotel for our vacation, and we loved the experience. Our kids loved the playground, they also loved to star gazing on the balcony. They are a lot of people during the weekend, but very quite during the weekday. Couple of things you might want to know 1. The parking sticker ($20 fee) is good for 30 days, not by calender month. 2. The complex is literally off route 3, very easy to find. 3. The beach is right outside the complex, the road showing on the picture next to the beach has very little traffic. We would rent this place again next time when we go to Puerto Rico.

  We have stayed in this beautiful apartment for each of the last eight years which is an indication of how pleased we are with all it's features. The views are unparalleled. We have never experienced sunrises like we have seen from this lovely condo.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

  We really enjoyed our 12 night stay in this condo - it was Excellent. The property was exactly as described and the photos depicted the condo perfectly. The condo was clean, well maintained, and cozy. Vanessa was responsive to all emails and gave us a lot of good information about things to see and do in the area. We spent a lot of time out on the balcony of the condo, which was spacious and the view was outstanding - this condo has the best view of the entire complex! There is a lot to do in the area. We particularly enjoyed hiking in the rain forest and the less than an hour drive to visit Old San Juan. The biobay tour on the island of Vieques with East Island Excursions was also phenomenal - if you want to do it all in one evening and return home the same evening - I would highly recommend this tour. The nature preserve tour in Fajardo was nice, although you need to be sure to make reservations in advance. The condo is very near to shopping and a variety of restaurants. The town of Fajardo is just a short 10 minute drive. Overall, this was one of the best vacations I have ever taken, and the condo along with the excellent location and view added to the experience. We were sad when it was time to leave! If you are having any doubts about this property - look no further and lock it in......you won't be disappointed!

  This beautiful penthouse is a great place to stay. It's a short walk to the pool or beach. Its a short drive to a number of local attractions (Bio bay, Rainforest) as well as the ferry (to visit the outer islands). I highly recommend taking the ferry to one of the islands for a beach day. The Kiosks are close by and it's easy to get around. Vanessa was helpful and communicative before, during and after our stay. Deposits are refunded promptly.

  We stayed for 13 days in this beautiful penthouse. This was our first time in Puerto Rico and we had a great vacation. Its location is very convenient. We rented a car at the airport and the drive to the condo took only 30 minutes. The security guard at the gate was very helpful to get us our parking sticker and give us tips for the nearby grocery stores. The condo grounds are very clean and the staff is attentive. The swimming pool is kept very clean. The location of this condo is on the corner of the building and has the ocean view on its three sides. It was well-maintained and everything was clean. We felt as if we were in our own home; it had everything we needed. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities. There were plenty of towels, including beach towels. One closet was full of what you would need on the beach such as beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, coolers, and even beach bags. The beach is only a few steps away, very clean, and quiet. The whole time we were there, there were only a hand full of people on the beach at a given time even on the weekend. The coconut trees along the beach make a really nice shady area to sit and relax. In walking distance of the condo is the town center which has nice restaurants and cafes (especially Aromas cafe). The rain forest is only 10 minutes away (by car). Fajardo to the east is also only a 20-minute drive. This fishing village has a beautiful beach, a bioluminescent bay, and the ferry terminal where you can catch a ferry to the islands of Culebra and Vieques. Thanks to the location of this condo, we got to relax on the beach, go sightseeing&hiking, and enjoy delicious local food. The owners were available whenever we had questions and they were very accommodating. We will definitely come back to Puerto Rico and stay again in this awesome penthouse.

  We just returned from a week at Luquillo where we stayed in this condo. The beach is paradise. It is just as you see it in the photos. What I want to rave about is the condo, though. Vanessa, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with and honestly describes the place. It is perfect. The condo is beautifully decorated and clean. Because it is on the 22nd floor and is a penthouse apartment, there is a breeze blowing from four sides all the time. We only used the air conditioning a couple of nights. The rest of the time it was breezy or downright windy, so it was very cool. You wake up to the sound of the wind and the water, the birds and the palm trees blowing. You can watch storms blowing in from across the mountains and can see the whole complex of tennis and basketball courts and the pool and the beach from the balcony. I have three teenage boys and they all loved the waves and warmth of the water and all the recreation facilities as well. The condo comes with everything you could possibly need or want. Boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, washer and drier -- everything. My favorite thing was taking a very long walk up the beach early in the mornings and not seeing a soul. It was pure heaven. My husband is not a beach person and he loved it as well. We truly loved this place. I hope we can get back another time. Thank you so much, Vanessa.

  My husband and I rented Vanessa's Penthouse for 10 days. The views are spectacular. You can enjoy the ocean view and the rainforest at the same time. Open the windows and doors to experience the cross ventation, it really keeps the condo cool and comfortable. The penthouse is nicely equipped and decorated. We enjoyed Puerto Rico with day trips to Old San Juan, Ponce, Torro Verde for ziplining (highly recommend them), hiking at El Yunque Rainforest, & kayaking bio-bay. Be sure to visit the Luqillo famous kiosks which are just minutes from the penthouse. Vanessa is very helpful and responds quickly to emails. We would definately recommend Vanessa's Penthouse. Enjoy!   We spent a glorious 8 days in Vanessa's condo in August, it was delightful! We especially enjoyed the balcony/patio that wraps around 2 sides of the condo, allowing panoramic views of the ocean, beach, and mountains. We loved enjoying meals on the balcony dining table. The pictures very accurately show the amenities and furnishings. The photos are not able to depict the soothing breezes that flow through the condo constantly. Open as many widows and doors as you like to enjoy! The condo is very clean and comfortable. Enjoy leisure times or action exploring, it is all available near the condo. We recommend it highly!

  My wife, daughter (9 yo), and I enjoyed our stay at the apartment although the location provided us with so many opportunities that we failed to make use of all of the amenities that the complex offered. The apartment was well maintained and had the necessary amenities to allow lots of fun on the beach (boogie boards, sand castle stuff, snorkeling stuff, etc). There was also tennis equipment, basketballs, and other outdoor equipment. We would definitely recommend the apartment. As for things to do near the apartment, we enjoyed both the Playa Azul and Luquillo beaches. My daughter especially liked the Luquillo beach because it was so placid. We hiked in the El Yunque Rain Forest on a couple of days (showered in La Mina Falls) and toured old San Juan on another day. We had two all day snorkeling excursions. One on the Erin Go Bragh III and another on the East Island Excursions power catamaran (Culebrita Adventure package). Both outings were extremely enjoyable. On the last night of our stay we we did the Bioluminescent Bay tour offered by East Island Excursions. Swimming in the bay with little lights dancing across our bodies was almost surreal. We highly recommend it.
