  We arrived from Canada, about 10pm and where so tired, we entered the place and just took a deep breather when we found out that the place is so well taken care off, clean and comfortable. The tiredness got us to the bedroom, and how happy both of us felt when we found out that the sheet are fresh and clean. The bathrooms and kitchen where immaculate. I enjoyed the cold drink the host left us in the fridge. The next day we woke up to a beautiful view as you can see the full lake, sitting outside on the deck and having our morning coffee was relaxing no city noises just the sound of the wind through the trees. David and Gigi topped our visit off by calling us making sure we have all we need and giving us pointers where to go and what to see, which we took full advantage off. My wife did not need to buy any thing for the kitchen as David and Gigi stocked the house will necessary equipments, pots, pans dishes.... everything you need. We did not need to spend a dime on even paper towels. You have everything you need in the area, if you are like us and do enjoy a good restaurant then lake Ezabella and Kernville have plenty of it, many bars and social events. We went to an italian restaurant, and a chinese good eaten. We had an amazing month in wofford heights at Dave and Gigis place. Thank you and hope to visit again.

  Very good place to rent. The owners have had a great deal to us. The house is in a beautiful place, the view from the window is wonderful. It's beautiful up in the morning and see the lake, over breakfast. I'm not enough words to thank the wonderful holiday that happens in your home. When we leave we would go live in the area

  Very reasonable rates for a clean and fully furbished 2 bed/2 bath home. The views are spectacular, Lake Isabella by day and the town of Wofford Heights and the stars at night. Peaceful and quiet, cozy and comfortable. We quickly felt like we were right at home. Owners were very friendly and promptly obliged our inquiries. We made good friends with the resident scrub jays and the woodpecker who resides in the utility pole. The critters really appeared to enjoy the peanuts we brought for them! A note of thanks to David and Gigi for readily accomodating us for the fourth night on such a short notice. We felt so cozy and comfortable at your vacation rental that we just did not want to leave and wanted another day to just take it all in. The view from the living/dining room is breathtaking, the pictures do not justify the actual view. The only thing I missed was Internet but I was able to do some "screening" at two Wifi spots, McDonalds in Lake Isabella and the Big Blue Bear Coffee House in Kernville. Wifi was very slow at both locations (dial up speed) but it was fun to associate with the locals whilst browsing through emails. Be sure to take the entrance off of Bristlecone Drive. Bristlecone is the street just west of the old pink Cadillac. Our GPS initially took us up a route which was barely navigational, steep and windy and did not lead us to the right home. GPS reception was spotty on a few occasions out here, suggest maps for backup, just in case. This rental is a nice size, will very easily accomodate two couples or families with children. The Futon is very comfortable, it's the best which I have ever slept on, comfortable and no backache the next morning. This is so much nicer than motel rentals in the area which cost even more, I am so glad we found this place instead. We are already looking forward to returning some day, we truly enjoyed our four day stay right before the Memorial Day Weekend. It looks like we left town just as the crowds were arriving.

  This bueatiful home is has the perfect view, very comfortable, and will be perfect for boaters. The hill is steep but you can make it up on the north side. You will be relaxed and have fun. The boat ramp is right down the hill. This is the PERFECT place to rent.

  I never would have thought of a mobile home as a vacation spot--this property was perfect for my family! There was enough space for my family to eat at the table..get this..together! My husband and brother-in-law enjoyed the fishing derby (Lake Isabella is a short 5 minute drive) and my sister-in-law and I enjoyed going shopping in Bakersfield (a 1 hour drive). The rental was warm, had a fully stocked kitchen and a washer and dryer, which was perfect since we had 3 dirty, rough and tumble boys. Absolutely perfect for a family!

Pets are $10. each extra per night, and must be kept off the furniture.
